Labor Day weekend

I am a week late posting this but, oh well!
Wade, Brooklyn and I, along with some of my family went to the Truckee River for Labor Day. We had a blast. The 50 foot rock is located a little past Verdi, so like 20 minutes from our house. The weather was perfect! It is so beautiful too!

My dad, Wade, and my brother Reilly jumped the 50 foot rock and played in the rapids for awhile. My mom, Brooklyn and I sat on the tiny sand area and ate our Port of Subs. We just watched them. We had just as much fun watching. Brooks loved watching too:)

I forgot to mention Wades' new found hobby, Crawdadding. He discovered this hobby while we were there. He saw some Crawdads where we were sitting, so he decided he wanted to catch them, and then take them home and eat them. Well he didn't have a cage to take them home this time, so now he is begging me to go to the river this weekend. He has even researched on the internet how to catch and cook them. We will keep you posted on the success of this new hobby:)
Reilly crossing the river to get to the rock.
Have you noticed this is Brooklyns' water outing outfit. I put her in it anytime we go somewhere with water. Isn't she adorable in it?

The three guys deciding where the safest place to jump is. The rock was so huge that I could not get them on the rock and the water in the same picture. That is how tall this rock is.
My dad chillin in the rapids.
Wade sitting in the rapids too, only he was under the little water fall. He said it was really hard to sit and not fall under.
My dad wanted to try it too!
