Heims Family Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! Yesterday was a great day. We had Winter and her roommate in town and my Aunt and Uncle and Grandmama came over. First we all tried going to see a movie at 11 but that was a bust because they were closed. So I had the bright idea of going up to this beautiful park and taking a big family picture. We have tried to do this but Winter is never here. Well finally she was here and we did. Randomly we ended up in brown, cream and orange. Except Winter...she wore black. Not too bad though. Jessica took the picture and I think they turned out cute!





After the pictures we came home, cooked and then ATE! It was delicious. The only problem was that I made homemade guacamole and then ate so much of it. Dinner time came and I was stuffed. I do that every year. I will learn one of these days. After dinner the girls headed to the movie August Rush. What a fabulous movie! The guys stayed at home and watched football. It was a great day.

Today we went shopping and I did not have fun. This is honestly one of my favorite days of the year. Well not this year. I got up at 5 and left at 530. Problem was I went to sleep at 1130, and was exhausted all day. Plus for the first time ever, I did not have a Christmas gift list prepared, so I did not know what I was buying. I ended up spending my money on me and Brooklyn. Not good at all. I even came home at 11. This was such an odd day for me. I am really bummed. The only plus is that now I will have everyday to go shop, since I am so bored during the day.
