The Dr. Said...

We headed to the Dr. today for the first time since we have been here. Weston was due for his 4 month shots, two months ago and we finally got them done today. We absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE our new Doctor. Dr. Klepper is one of the best here I guess and we are lucky to get into him. He only accepts new patients by referral. Our friend Ellen Hardy asked him if he would take us and he did! YAY! He was so great with Brooklyn and made me feel so good about my concerns. He told me that he ALWAYS wants me to call him even with the littlest concern. I am really happy. Anyway, here are the stats and some pictures of course.

This CUTE CUTE boy is 6 months old in a few days. He is right on track for his age. His stats are:
Height: 27 inches - 77th percentile
Weight: 18 pounds-77th percentile
Both are about what Brooklyn was at six months except she was in the 90th for height! Hehe!
At six months Weston enjoys:
*Playing is number 1! This kid LOVES to play, grab at toys, and play with us!
*Loves to eat. I have yet to blog about him eating solids. Well, he is so good at eating from a spoon, even right from the beginning. He loves everything he has tried so far. I have no complaints:)
*He rolls and rolls around.
*He is close to crawling. He does a light form of army crawling.
*He sits up with something propping him up in the back.
*He loved cuddling the nurse today. She fell in love with him:)
*He rubs his teething toys so hard across his gums that it makes the biggest squealing noises!
*He is so fascinated by grabbing at our faces.
Brooklyn was an absolute angel at the Dr.'s. She loved it! He told us that Brooklyn is as advanced as a 3 1/2 year old according to his observation and little test thingy. We knew she was smart. She always has been. Her stats are:
Height: 37 inches-25/50th percentile
Weight-29 pounds-25th percentile.
At 2 1/2 Brooklyn enjoys:
*Anything that has to do with princesses or dancing,
*One of her favorite things, no joke, is getting dressed in the morning. She loves picking out outfits, matching things, getting accessorized, ect. No Joke!
*She loves to color, watch movies, cuddle with her dad, talk on the phone, SHOP, hang out with friends, play with anyone who will pay attention to her, and loves to eat random things after she says she is full at dinner!....Doesn't she sound just like a teenage girl?
She is the BEST big sister. She is nurturing, motherly, comforting, so sweet, and loves to help out with anything I am doing.
She even is for the most part, a very obedient child. She listens well(most of the time), cleans well even without me asking, and she is just a nice little girl.
These two are so silly and absolutely love playing with each other.
Don't you love this little guy? I do:)
Weston looks like he is totally loving this! I have to say that Weston is such a wrestler, so he deserves this tackle from Brooklyn. Anytime we lay West and Brooks together he totally attacks her. He pulls her hair, grabs her, tries to eat her, thrusts himself onto her...it is super funny!

We get our family pictures taken this weekend and I am so excited:) I also leave to go back home in two weeks. I will be gone for 7 weeks. I am kind of sad because I am having so much fun here. I will miss my friends and so will Brooklyn!

Tomorrow I will post the last two Halloween posts.
