San Antonio -part 4 Eating and playing

This is the last San An post. We had fun and thankful for the much needed trip. I really enjoyed San Antonio-that is a very cool city. Next time we go, it needs to be winter or spring though. We couldn't really do much in the city because of the heat. We didn't do Sea World either. Too expensive for a family of 4 in the 107 heat. I just couldn't have done it and we have been to Sea World before. Thankfully, our resort was super fun so we could just relax and play there.

One of the funniest parts of the trip is when we were sitting in the hot tub and Tim pours a hotel shampoo into the hot tub and created massive amounts of bubbles. What followed was the funniest part. One of the pool techs noticed quickly after and from there created a "resort emergency"! There were like 10 different people down there, caution tape went up, engineers were called in to "fix" the problem and just a bunch of workers totally over reacting. It was hilarious to watch. They never knew it was Tim :) And this picture was taken like 20 minutes after....so most of the bubbles had dissolved.
Speaking of hot tub....Weston is a serious hot tub fan. He gets all the way in, loves it, talks about going to the hot tub and gets so excited when he sees it. It was pretty cute. It wasn't that hot but really enjoyable at night. One of my most favorite times of the trip was when we got back from dinner around 9 and decided to all so down to the pool. It was dark but all the lights in the water were on. We sat in the hot tub for awhile, went on the lazy river and just played in the water till about 11 at night. It was so fun.

One of my other favorite parts was when I woke Brooklyn up from her nap while everyone was napping and took her down to the pool just me and her. It was soooo soooo soooo fun. She kept saying, "mom, I love being with just you! " and , "mom, you are my best friend! " and cute things like that. We played and played for like 45 minutes together and it was one of my favs.

So while we were there we hit up 3 different restaurants that were featured on Travel channels, "Man Vs Food" show. We ate at Chunnkys, Lou Lous (10 lbs cinnamon roll or something...we did eat it) and Big Lous. These next pictures were taken at Big Lous. They are famous for the huge pizzas.

This pizza was ginormous and to me, actually unappetizing. It was pretty cool though. I think it was a 42 inch pizza. We ordered the 20 inch and thought that was huge.

Sounds like you had such a fun trip! I'm trying to convince Chaz to find some time to escape so we can do something like that. I would love to get some details from you about your resort and such! Thanks for posting. Its fun to hear about your adventures. :)
