Always playing catch up!

This year has started off so awful. More on all of that later but here is a jist: We have been super sick since the beginning of the year and as I am typing I have a fever, sore throat, aches, chills, ect not to mention three days ago we were all puking with the flu. Ryan has had a sinus infection seriously since October. We just go around and around with meds. My sweet Grandmama died a few weeks ago. We just returned from her memorial service, which I will blog about later. My sister's FIL was killed in the line of duty as a cop, the day before my Grandmama died. Watching my sister and Chance suffer and grieve and experience such horrific things has been excruciating for me/Wade. I have mastered the  "mourn for those that mourn" that is for sure, and I tell ya, it SUCKS! We have a judgement against a previous renter who owes us money and we have had the WORST luck in garnishing her wages. We are out a couple thousand dollars. (thankfully this is the first time it's happened and we have great renters in there now, and always have had minus the one month we had this evil women who we evicted after a month).
Jeez, what an awful way to start off a post. That's just been our life the last few months. I hope things start to improve!
One the other hand, I have darling, wonderful kids who are growing and learning and make our life wonderful. And they are still as cute as ever :)
Here's proof that we are still alive and kicking(barely) ;)
Brooklyn one day decided that I was right and needed a hair cut. We probably cut off 6 or 7 inches off of her hair. We added some layers and she is so cute with her new hair cut.
This was back in January. AZ has fall when the rest of the country experiences winter!
Brooklyn is looking so grown up and old these days. I can't handle it.
I love me some Iverson boys. Especially when I can match them up all cute.
This was taken on the day she went back to school after Christmas break. I was sad all day. I am definitely one of those moms that DOES NOT like sending my kids back to school. I LOVE them home all day every day. We really enjoyed Christmas break.
I love sleeping babies. Such peaceful little loves.
One day of Christmas break we went to the Aquarium. Ryan was making some cute faces and I am happy I caught them on my phone. He is cute, so so cute. He isn't as easy and happy as he used to be but he is still a great baby.
Ryan is pretty much hating bottles right now, which is perfect timing because he turns ONE next week( I can't believe that btw). Can you tell by this pic that Ryan is one loved little boy?
A few weeks ago we surprised Brooklyn at school for lunch. She gets so excited when we surprise her for lunch.
Brooklyn and I had a girls night a few weeks ago and we went shopping. She had fun posing for a little fitting room fun. That girl lives for shopping I tell ya.
Love those little buns. ha. Weston just glanced over at me uploading this pic and asked why the "heck" I would post that on the computer. haha. He is soooo obsessed with boxer briefs. He switches into a new pair twice a day. Remember his fave present from Christmas was his news briefs! crazy kid.
We have been very blessed in being able to visit the new GORGEOUS Gilbert temple twice during the open house. The first time we were able to take 7 of our JAG friends. It was a very neat experience. This Temple is one of the most gorgeous I have ever seen. I love that temples are The House of the Lord and that we were able to go as a family and teach our friends and children.
Just a little Saturday morning reading. Weston thinks he is quite hilarious.
One night I came home from watching Bachelor at a friends house to this little note from my sweet girl. I will treasure this little note forever. I tucked it tightly away in my scriptures for safe keeping. I love the "Your Besty Brooklyn". It just doesn't get better then that for a mom.
Tons more updates and posts...hopefully coming soon!
