It's been very difficult to blog recently. No motivation because one of my main reasons for keeping this thing up was so my family could stay up to date on my family. Now all of my immediate family members live here in Arizona and know what's going on in our world! And I am not sure how much of Wade's family reads our family blog so I have put it on the back burner. But I still want to keep this family record for my kids to read, so I must get back on track. I had this post uploaded with these pics and so I'll start here :)
Like I mentioned above, the whole Heims family now resides in the desert, except Sister Heims who is still in Madrid on her mission. (3.5 months left!!!) Winter and her family moved here to find a new adventure for their family and try something other then UT. My parents moved here after my grandma's death to be closer to the grandbabies. And then Reilly followed. It's been awesome. Reilly has lived with us for 4 months now and is moving out within the month.
I'm sure most kids are this way, but Ryan loves loves soda or anything that resembles a drink with a straw. He's a junkie. We don't give him a ton of soda but when we do, he can't give it up. Ryan is currently 17.5 months. He's such a good boy, but has temper and attitude problems. Him and I stay home all day and get on each other's nerves. :) He really is such a good kid just like his siblings.
Me no make-up :) I guess we were having a grey day. This summer was so fun and I will blog about that more later. I failed last summer with laziness but this summer I redeemed myself and made it a super fun summer for the kids.
This girl started second grade! I don't know how it's possible that I have a second grader but it happened. Perfection defines this girl. I can't wait to see the incredible things she is going to accomplish in this life because she is incredible. Can I please be like you when I grow up miss Brooklyn? :)
We were supposed to move next July but that may be moved up and we have a good chance at being moved at the end of this year. I have mixed feelings about it. I REALLY REALLY love living here and plan to move back to Arizona after we are done in the AF.
Having my parents here has been really great. They live about 30 minutes away right now and it's a good distance. I really love this picture of the three of us. I hope I look like my mom when I am older.
Weston, my little chunnie boy, has had a rough few months. Once summer hit he thought that was good timing to start bouncing off walls, not listen to anything I said and found himself in trouble a lot. In relative terms, he was still a good kid, he just wasn't his good behaved self. I think the last few weeks he has made big strides in getting back to his cute self.
This picture was from April 27th. Is that really how far behind I am? Sad.
This was taken on Wade's birthday. Love this group selfie and all of the people in it.
And that's about it for now. Wade and I are busy and crazy but what else is new?
We celebrated 10 years last week. Where oh where has the time gone? And how am I old enough for that number?
We are taking a little anni trip to visit Seattle next week. My goal is to get this blog caught up by then!
