Guess who is 9 months???

Another month down and 3 more to go until Brooklyn reaches the big 1. Oh, how the time is flying by. Each month is better than the last, and each month we learn new things about Brooklyn. Brooklyn was WAY sick this last week and a half. We took her to the doctor and indeed she was super sick with the Influenza virus. Now she is on her way to getting better. While we were there we also did the 9 month appointment too.

Here are her stats for my record:)

Weight: 18 pounds...25%tile. The doctor said she was tall and lean, but better than having a fat baby. Those were his words, I think little chunks are adorable. He said she was eating enough, so I guess that is the way she is.

Height: 28 1/2 inches...75%tile. She is slowing down on her height. Wa-hoo...mama likes that!

Head circumference: I cannot remember the numbers, however I remember the 95%tile! Yikes!

Here are some of her favorite things right now:

Brooklyn still loves bath time! She loves the running water and she loves her little duckies.

These are the frogs Winter made her for Christmas. She LOVES them. They are adorable.

This is not a very cute picture but it portrays Brooklyn's new addiction: pulling herself up. She started this a little bit a couple of months ago, but now she is a pro at it and is pulling herself up on everything in sight. She is also starting to walk as she balances herself on the furniture. She will be walking in no time. This picture also shows her and her cousin, who we love. Brooklyn has become sooooooo social. I have yet to meet a baby that is more social than her. A the very sight of a kid, Brooklyn will start making this noise she makes when she wants something. She loves playing with kids!

Here she is with her new toy. She loves toys now. Now she has really no interest in baby toys anymore, she wants the big kid toys! (This is considered a big kid toy for us) She seriously will be occupied for hours as she plays with her basket full of toys!

A few other things that Brooklyn is into now: She loves to stand towards the bench at church and play with whoever is sitting behind us. If we take her away from it she gets sad:( She also loves to eat real food. She loves to eat what we are eating, and it is fun for us too! She still loves her naps during the day. Mommy loves this about her:) She also loves to stand up in her crib. She loves, loves this! It is pretty cute how excited she gets when she does this. She also loves to crawl under things. She will crawl under the dog, tables, under our legs, ect. Oh yeah, most importantly, she loves to make us laugh. She really does have a sense of humor now. She loves getting a reaction out of us, and she loves to laugh herself.
