Last Friday Brooklyn and I got to play with Kade. Teri, his mom, was out searching for the missing girl here in Reno. Brianna Dennison has been missing for 2 weeks now. It is such a sad situation. Teri knows the missing girl really well, so she has been really involved in the process of trying to find her. We hope Brianna comes home soon!
On a brighter note, we got to watch Kade for the day. Brooklyn was ESTATIC when she woke up from her nap to find Kade looking through her crib. She immediately started giggling and her body movements were crazy! She was so excited:) She loves him.
They played all day long together. Brooklyn was on cloud nine all day. I could not get her to eat, sleep, or even change her diaper. She wanted Kade and could not miss a single second to play with him. She was so happy and fun all day long. They played together so cute!
Whoa, whoa kiddos! Too young for that business!
Kade was showing her how to clap! (Even though she already knows how to clap...it was still cute!)
Kade was so gental and sweet to Brooklyn. We went out and ran some errands and they were in the back and he took such good care of her. He would put her binky back in her mouth if it fell out, gave her, her toys that fell and held her hand. After Friday, and watching Brooklyn so happy all day long, I realized that I am ok with leaving Brooklyn at the Boland home. She is going to be so happy all week long. She is not even going to realize that we are gone!
