Did I ever mention that we are such a busy family? Well, we are now! I love being busy and having stuff to do, so I am not complaining:) Here are some of the things we have been up to as a family.
This is what happens when Wade joins us to Walmart! He spent way too many dollars trying to win Brooklyn this gross Curious George stuffed animal. Those things are rigged but Wade wanted to make Brooklyn happy! Have I ever mentioned that Wade is the best daddy ever? When Brooks and I go to Walmart, I get in get out and bypass the stupid rides and candy machines. Guess I am the "no fun" parent.
He even lets her get on the little rides. We have been to Walmart way too many times this last week.
Wade just got a new calling he has never had before. He is the Weeblows leader for the little boy scouts. I think he is going to enjoy this calling. So every Wednesday night he will be going to scouts. Wade is also getting our backyard in and it has been A LOT of work. We spent a lot of Saturday out there putting our back yard in. We are planting seed as opposed to laying sod, so Wade now calls me every couple of hours wondering if the grass has sprouted! Nope...not even close, maybe in another week!
Brooklyn has learned some really cool things lately. She has learned to say yes and no to questions we ask her. This is very helpful, but also very funny because she tells us no a lot to things she doesn't want to do. She has also learned to take on and off her clothes, learned how to cook a waffle in the toaster, learned to go get things I ask her like the phone, her diaper, wipes, her shoes, ect. She has also been more and more in love with babies. On Saturday night we had Sara and Chris over for the USC game and Brooklyn could not get enough of their cute little baby Logan. She got a diaper and opened it up and put it on him, tried feeding him his bottle, tried to pick him up and hug him and pretty much just wanted to be with him! Someday she will have a little baby to play with 24/7!
I am still in school and surprisingly still keeping up and doing well! I love my dance class and love all my other classes. Wade and Brooklyn have their own alone time together every Tuesday and Thursday and absolutely love it!
Brooklyn loves hats! The minute I go in and get her in the morning she asks to put on a hat. She is one funny girl.
I also wanted to say that I loved the cooler weather today. I am SOOOOO ready for the fall weather and for everything that comes with the fall season. I even made soup tonight for dinner tonight...well Top Ramon, does that count as cooking??? and loved every minute of it! We have a ton of fun things that are coming up for the rest of the year to keep us busy and happy!

Oh, that pic of Wade in the Scout uniform sent me back a few years! He'll be a wonderful Webelos leader (I'm the Primary Pres. in my ward and I'd love to have him!) -- those boys will love him.
I decided that I needed to come on over and check out your blog. You are such a cute mom, and I had no idea that you are going to school (we'll have to chat about that later). Anyway, super cute pics of your little family.
BTW-when you do decide to take the plunge and go private, please send me an invite - jsspockets@yahoo.com
My blog is private too.
Thanks for the update. We miss you. Love those pictures! Wade will do GREAT in the new calling. Brooklyn is cuter every time I see a new picture. :)
