Snow Days are the BeSt

On Monday, here in Reno, school was cancelled for Macy and work was cancelled for my mom. It snowed like 6-8 inches at my parents house. Needless to say, we had a BLAST playing in the snow, building a snowman, watching The Santa Clause, and making Christmas cookies. I am such a HUGE fan of snow days! Here are some pictures taken from yesterday.

Macy is the best aunt and took Brooks out in the snow and made a snowman and even made Brooks a castle. She was in heaven until the castle was all done and she wanted to put on a dress and princess shoes to go in her castle. That of course was not going to happen and she threw a fit. They still had a blast though!
Here she is on Sunday night like at 1030pm. We were all decorating the tree and looked out side and there was a ton of snow already. We all took her out and played for a few minutes. It was a late night, but so worth the time we spent decorating and playing in the snow in the dark:)

Weston didn't get out of his jammies at all yesterday. I think that may be a first for him. After all...isn't that what snow days are all about?

Get this...this is my parents neighbor's house. They have blow up decor on their grass(sorry but TOTALLY not a fan of blow ups). To make matters worse, they have a sled pulling Santa(which is ok) but guess what are pulling Santa's sleigh??? YEP...pink flamingos! HAHA! Now my parents live in a very nice neighborhood. What is with the tackiness, and right across the street from my parents? HAHAHA!

***Well that sums up our snow day yesterday. I wish we could have those more often:) I love the snow and never understand why people complain about it.
