Dallas: Part One

We just went to Dallas and had the most amazing time. I am depressed we don't live by the Dakins'. They are so wonderful , all four of them. Not to mention they were the best hosts to us! We got there for dinner on Thursday and went to this cute shopping center to eat. Then across the street they have this cute little village created for kids to play in. They even had a real caboose and a maze. It was so fun and we were so excited to them! This post is all about the Dallas World Aquarium we went to on Friday. One word describes this place. AMAZING! Nothing like I imagined. It is like a habitat of land and sea animals and you basically walk through it all! We had fun. It was pretty pricey but worth every penny!

Our family as we entered the aquarium. Birds were flying in the air, monkeys in the trees and big huge whale looking things at the bottom in the water.

Our friends. Miss them already.

I think we look like we are in Hawaii. That would have been nice too. But Hawaii doesn't have good friends there, so I will take Dallas!
We turned our double stroller into a triple stroller so buddy Ben could sit with Brooklyn.

Looking at some penguins swimming in the water.

The kids loved the really big kitty! Thankfully this guy was behind glass. Not many animals were, it was really awesome.

Brooklyn absolutely LOVED this place. She was sad when we left. Wade thought it was one of the highlights of the trip too. So if you are in Dallas, check out the aquarium.

This look was frequent on Weston. Him trying to look up at the amazing birds that were flying around.

We ate at this fancy restaurant inside that was so incredibly yummy.

That night we ate at The Cheesecake factory and then played at the outdoor mall that had a live band and a little grassy area for the kids to play on. Our friends actually lived in Allen, right outside of Dallas. It was so nice and clean and expensive. Everything about that little city is nice. It was fun being there:) Next up I will post about our night time fun!
