My mom just left today. I cried. I hate goodbyes and I hate that I have to wait for Christmas to see my family again. This is one part of living so far out here that I think sucks! Anyway, here is a recap of what we did while she was here for 10 days.

Brooklyn and SheShe had fun together. SheShe spoiled Brooklyn with things she loves. She even slept in her bed with her every night and Brooklyn loved that. Brooklyn and SheShe have an amazing bond.

We ate out a lot and cooked a lot. Well I cooked, you don't find my mom in the kitchen ;) Here we were at Rosa's. Yummy Mexican food.

This little boy loves his SheShe. He would often want her over me and he loved to have her read books to him. My mom is such a fun grandma!

We did a lot of fun things together. We shopped a lot. I introduced her to Hobby Lobby and I think we may have spent 2 hours in there. Thankfully my kids do well shopping because we did a lot of it! I took her to a few other stores that she doesn't have in Reno. She spent most of her money at Hobby Lobby though...how can you not?

We also introduced her to food places that she doesn't have in Reno too. Chick Fil A' (Sp?), Rosa's, sams club pizza, Spoonful, BAHAMA BUCKS(one of her fav's) and I can't remember what else. I also made some yummy dinners that she loved too!

We played lots, watched lots of Office at night when the kids went to bed and we relaxed some. There isn't much relaxing time with my mom :) But I am that way too, so it's ok!

Getting blown by the wind while dancing and singing in the car! One of my favorite things was being able to introduce her to some of my good friends. Monday night we had our friends the Strebels' and Hansons' over for a bbq and then after the girl stayed and we had fun watching Bachelor Pad together and eating my moms specialty, marshmallow popcorn together. My mom loved both of them and it was fun to have her meet the people I spend most of my time with. Then on Wednesday we went to the Science Spectrum with my good friend Dani and her kids. My mom loved her too! She knows who I always talk about now and who Brooklyn and Weston's friends are.

My mom and I also made these adorable shirts. I'll have to post a picture asap. They are adorable. So we got a little crafty too! We just had a GREAT time with my mom. Oh Wade and my mom played lots of WII and got a little competitive! It was a fun 10 days and we miss her like crazy already! Thank you for coming mom, I love you more then ever!

I'm so glad you had such a fun time with your mom! I am sure she enjoyed it more than you did getting to see those adorable kids of yours! So fun :)
How old is your mom? She seriously looks like your older sister?
I wish we could have played too!
