Just a Bunch of Randomness

Here are some pictures taken lately. Not much going on here. We just play, go to the gym, clean, run errands, make dinner, wait for Daddy to get home, take lots of naps and play with friends. That pretty much sums up what we do all week!

While Brooklyn is at school twice a week, me and this little guy definitely spend time together (when he is not napping). I forget how easy and fun it is to just have one. All my attention is his and he loves it! He totally gets spoiled too. Yesterday he got like 2 lollipops right in a row(which doesn't happen often). He loves lollies and I love him! There is something about this boy that has me wrapped around his finger.
Brooklyn is really into dress up again. She goes in spurts with what she plays with. She is also obsessed with getting married, brides, marrying a prince, who should marry who and anything relating to anything weddingish. Wade just said this morning in the car about how young she is to be so obsessed with it. I say no way...when they say you dream about your wedding as a little girl, they are so right! And she does!

What Wade home before 930 at night? NO WAY! He did have a free 2 hours yesterday so he came home and vegged. You can bet that if you has food out, you will also have a little beggar named Weston by your side. Here he is copying his daddy licking the rest of the salsa out of the bowl (yes Wade is 5!) :) Weston copies everything Wade does. It is so adorable.

Wade never ever studies, but is so busy with mock trial, his national moot court team he made (and is traveling to Cali in two weeks for...and gets to go to Disneyland...NO FAIR!) his church calling, tutoring, and all 7 classes. We were so glad to have him home for dinner last night, I think that hasn't happened in like 3 weeks! Poor guy is exhausted! Oh plus he has a job!

Weston still takes two solid naps a day. I don't know how I got blessed with good sleepers but I did. Brooklyn still naps too! If we weren't in school I think we would throw another "hopefully good sleeper" into the mix! But we are, so we aren't.

Last night was Election night. Oh Oh Nevada. What am I going to do with Nevada? What a total and complete disappointment you were last night keeping Harry in. Thankfully I live in the 2nd most conservative city in the nation...right behind good ol' Provo, UT. I did vote and I am thankful that I have that right!! ---Brooklyn and I watched the results together while Wade went to practice for his team. We ate oreo's and milk and cuddled on the couch! So perfect...except Nevada.

Brooklyn shocked me the other day when she drew this little guy. I had not a clue that she knew how to draw things. I know she can color like a pro, but draw people...Nope! The lines/marks on the sides of the face are whiskers...and that is a picture of me. I don't have whiskers, but it is still adorable. I was so proud when I saw it!
