Trick or Treating

Trick or Treating tonight was so fun. It was a little different then we have done it in the past, but still awesome. We had some new friends over for dinner. I made lettuce wraps and Mandarin chicken. I thought it was pretty yummy. Then just the 4 of us went T-or-treating. It being on a Sunday was interesting. I wish we were like Utah and had it yesterday, but whatever, we aren't so we went tonight. Lubbock was like a ghost town. Just a few of us out and just a few houses participated. I was kind of bummed. We went to our friends old neighborhood that we did last year. What a difference a Sunday makes here is religious country. I do like that, but was bummed we couldn't do alot of houses. Enjoy the pics!

I had the TWO CUTEST t-or-treaters tonight ;)
Here they are at their first house. Having two kids is so awesome!

Usually we have a ton of friends to go with and all the kids go together. This year, we just went ourselves, and I kind of enjoyed that. We will go next year with friends and do a Halloween party or something, but this year was fun too!

Being that there were hardly any kiddos out, the houses that gave out candy gave heaping handfuls to the kids!
Brooklyn loved every minute of it and asked after every house if we could do a few more. If the World Series weren't on (Wade!) we would have stayed out longer. I think we hit about 12 houses.

Little Robin knew exactly what to do. And he was a pro at it!
Brooklyn was missing part of her costume for tonight. By this point I am too lazy to get the whole get-up on. She still looked cute! Oh and look at chunie in the back ground. haha!

I love Halloween, I love trick or treating, I love all the parties and festivities and I love all the treats! Oh and this year I wore shorts, flip flops and a zipup...I love that too! In Reno we always had to bundle up!

I love the kids costumes. I remember when my kids whould let me dress them up as a theme. Those were fun days. It looks like you had a great Halloween. Its fun to read all of your updates. I can't comment on them all, but I will get better. Miss you!
