I have so many pictures that I have taken in the last month that never made it onto the blog. I needed something about Brooklyn to blog about, but I can't ever think of anything. She is just a cute girl, doing cute things all day long, and I never can remember when I go to do a post. So I guess I will just give a little Iverson family update.
This peanut is loving school. She has a few little friends from school that she frequently talks about. One being a boy named Blair, and according to her teacher, they are connected at the hip. She told me Blair is the boy version of Brooklyn. He is a sweet, white/blonde haired boy. How cute. I had a few people wonder why we would put her in pre-school, but I am SOOOO glad we did. She loves it, she has learned a ton, and it is something that she gets to do all by herself and it is perfect for us!Weston is getting so grown up. His vocabulary is incredible now and can repeat most words we ask him to say. Sadly, he is a biter(thankfully Brooklyn is the only victim). Poor Brooklyn but I glad my friends or nursery kids are not. We are not sure what to do about it. On the other hand he is the sweetest kid you have ever met. He lights up a room and is definitely the life of the family.
I am loving being in YW's. I have had more spiritual experiences and felt closer to my Father in Heaven now more then ever in my entire life. It is a ton of work, but at this point in my life, it is exactly what I need and what I am supposed to be doing. I am starting the Personal Progress program again with my girls and leaders and I am excited!
Wade of course is busy. He made an arbitration team and will be traveling to California and Chicago for it this year and in January. This team pretty much keeps his weekends busy. Boo! He has a midterm tomorrow. Another Boo! He plays on a flag football team though, and is having a blast. He is still doing really well in school and tutoring as well. Busy man? YES!
In other substantial news we met with TTU's Dean today. He was a former JAG attorney. Everyone knows Wade wants to be a JAG officer. That is what he wanted to do from the beginning. Me? NEVER! We fought every time he would even bring it up. Slowly, I have warmed up to the idea. I have been doing my own my own research, talked to a few people who are doing it, and even found this amazing blog of an LDS girl whose hub is a recent JAG. She has answered most of my questions. Today we spent 1.5 hours in the Dean's office picking his brain. I have to say that now I am 100% on board with this idea. The benefits out way any benefit of Wade working for a firm. Absolutely! Here are a few benefits that don't come with a regular firm job. *Starting last year they give you 65,000 over a 4 year period to pay off student loans. HECK YES! Sign me right up.
*You get 100% free health care for Wade and the fam.

*They usually give you one of your top two base locations.
*30 paid vacay days a year.
*Pretty much an 8-5 hour day for Wade.
*Trail experience in the first 2 months.
Of course there are draw backs but none that out way all of these amazing benefits!
So there ya go. We are putting in our app as soon as the end of the year!

Brooklyn looks so grown up! I can't even believe it. Glad you and the fam are doing so well. This JAG thing sounds great. Have you heard about Cody adn Wade's crazy idea to camp out for Duke tickets? Looks like we may be seeing you guys soon! Yay:)
She is getting so cute! Man! We miss you guys! That is exciting about JAG I hope it all works out like you want. And just think, then you can come to Hershey...the land of Chocolate and visit me :)
When we were first married Kurt really wanted to do JAG and I was terrified! Unfortunately he tore his ACL and never would've been cleared and I was actually relieved! Hope it works out well for you guys and I think it's awesome your so supportive and on board!
I love how she is "stylin" at soccer! My sister had a biter and the best thing they did for him was so just say a lound NO at him when he did bad things....Just once, and mean it. Not to over do it because boys don't react like girls.
