Law Prom as a Second year

Wade and I went to the law prom this last weekend. I was excited to go. It was Old Hollywood theme. Our good friends watched our kids and we went. I was really hoping we would have a blast...but we didn't!

For starters...I being a mom and wife and older then most of the skanky girls there, felt more like a chaperon ;) I was the surrounded by some extremely inappropriate outfits (think SHORT, tight, boobs hanging out, and lots of skin). I wasn't surprised. I did however, like my outfit and loved being able to dress up!
The food was good...thankfully.

Wade looked hott and I enjoyed that :)

It was enjoyable not having the kids running around and it was a much needed "wade and I" time!

The awful part was the fact that most were pretty drunk. We don't drink obviously, and it was uncomfortable watching these "soon to be" professionals plastered! I was baffled that these graduate students acted so irresponsible and it reminded me of high school but worse!

I am surprised I am blogging so negatively! I guess I am in a mood! But with all grossness we saw, it actually was fun. It is awesome to see how much Wade is loved and respected. He has a lot of good friends that we chatted with and that was fun!

I did wear fishnets but bought them on the way. I think they made the outfit so cute. Sad that I didn't get any pictures of the final product!

These shoes got a lot of attention ;)

Oh and Wade and I danced for a little bit, that was kind of fun!!!

We had a good time. Will I go next year? No, but it was fun to be out with wade and it was fun to look pretty for a night:)
