Saturday we went up to Lake Tahoe. I grew making the 40 minute drive every Monday in the summer when I was growing up. I more then love Tahoe. My kids loved it just as much too.
First thing Weston did when we walked to the sand was run right into the water. Luckily Macy was there and pulled him out. Dang little dare devil!
It was a beautiful day. We ate a whole lot of junk, made sand castles, chatted a bunch, played a little in the freezing water and really just enjoyed being up at the lake.
My grandma came and it was fun to spend time with her :)
My awesome aunt came up too. My kids adore her and she adores them :)
The water was freezing but Macy took them on a ride anyway!
Ok isn't this water unreal? Yeah it is. It is so crystal clear and sooooo clean! Best place in the whole world!
Macy and I were talking about if we would want to move back to Reno one day. We both agreed that you just can't beat a 40 minute drive to Tahoe. It is so beautiful!
