My mom is here! YAY! It has been so much fun...more on that in another post. Something else exciting is that it is in the 80's this week. Oh, let me tell you how heavenly it is. We were in triple digits last week and pretty much all summer, so this is a welcomed, "cold front" :)

The other day I came down stairs to this little wanna be Woody man and his little creation. He is so funny and so cute. I can't get enough of his lately. Sure he is such a butt, but I can't get enough!

One night we went to the mall pretty late to find some things for Wade. While we were there our friends from our gym were there and painted the kids faces. Weston couldn't have been more excited. Every time he saw himself in the mirror he got all excited.

I think it is so cute when moms dress their two girls or two boys alike. I try and do it with my kids as much as I can. It usually happens on Sunday. I think they looked cute in their black and white a few Sunday's ago.

Brooklyn is really enjoying school, her home work and her teacher Mrs. Pharr. And...she learned how to swim all by herself. She is so excited and so proud of herself.

Yesterday we were at this little splash pad and there was a park there also. Brooklyn was off by the park and we were at the splash pad. Brooklyn heard the sound of an ice cream truck and started running back towards us. Once she reached us she was scared. She said she remembered us telling her that she is never allowed to be by an ice cream truck without us. I was so proud of her for remembering that and for being obedient. She is such a good girl. And I am sad that I have to have concern about an ice cream truck and how dangerous they can be. When I was a kid, an ice cream truck was so fun and I didn't need my mom there. Now...no way will my kids run up to an ice cream truck.

When I take pictures of my kids, we have to bribe them :) Gummy worms were their reward that time.

Wade is soooooo soooooo busy. I think this is his busiest semester yet. No joke. And...he only has 3 classes. That tells you how much extra circular activities he is involved in. Yesterday he left at 640 am and didn't get home till 1015pm. And he had ONLY 2 hours of class :) Cra-zy! p.s. he interviewed for a KILLER job yesterday and got the JOB! It's the sweetest law clerk job ever. He is such a stud! We are SOOO excited!
