Update on us!e

Life for our family is so insanely crazy right now. I can't even describe how busy Wade is. Poor guy is really, really, really busy. My kids are having a very hard time with him gone so much. But....we are almost done so it isn't bothering us too much. We can handle another 2.5 months :) I sure am grateful for the good looking guy I have that is so smart and so talented. He is seriously ROCKING law school. And I can say that because I can brag about my lovah!

So here is an update on Brooklyn. She is learning sign language at school along with some math, reading, writing. Writing is coming very easy to Brooklyn. Just tonight she asked me how to spell some words and she wrote them with no help. (Macy they are on your little picture she drew you.) She is also a master negotiator. She can reason, negotiate, and talk her way to anything. She also has some really sweet and tender prayers. She usually starts off with saying, "Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for everything that is beautiful and nice." I.LOVE.THIS.GIRL. Part of me never wants another girl so that she can always be my bestest buddie and favorite girl. But...she is so cute and needs a sister. So I will happily take another girl.
Weston is back to his good boy self. He is so so so smart. This kid learns really quickly. You teach him something once and he has got it. He knows all of his colors and I have never once taught them to him. He knows how to count, sing songs, say ABC in order, knows how to work any electronic and learns hard lessons well(like his naughty behavior). He is also super creative and really thinks about what he is saying before he spits it out. Today he was trying to whistle and blowing out his mouth. Then he said..."mom, it isn't working...my mouth needs batteries!" HAHA! Love this cute boy. And last night he was still awake in his crib when Wade and I went to bed. I go in there to check on him and give him a kiss and he says, "Mom, you way( lay) wif me me...just for a wittle bit (little bit). Oh I scooped him right up and took him to bed with me.

Despite Wade being so busy and gone all the time, he is doing really well. Just for our own family journal, I wanted to document all that is on his plate right now.

Conference was this last weekend and I loved all 4 sessions. I am grateful for a living prophet, living apostles of Jesus Christ. We hear from them twice a year and they are my most favorite weekends. I am so motivated to be a better spouse and a better mom...and most important a better member of the church.

That's all I have :)
