Nassau- Day 3

Our second stop was to the beautiful capitol of the Bahama's- Nassau. We had previously been there on our honeymoon, so we were so excited to go back-it brought back a lot of fun memories. Nassau is gorgeous. Definitely our favorite place. The famous Atlantis resort is there. We will definitely be vacationing there someday. Hopefully the attorney job works out for us ;)

Come on, you know you love my fluffy, humid hair. Ha. My poor hair. So thankful AZ is dry :)

We took a ferry over to the Atlantis and spent a lot of the day there.

We walked through the resort, beached it, shopped a bunch and just relaxed.

I love this picture. We had so much fun together. We hadn't been on a vacation without kids in 4 years, so this was so so nice. I was worried that I would have a hard time being away from my kids. I thought I would miss them so much. Truthfully, I didn't miss them terribly, which I am thankful for. I definitely missed them, but I enjoyed my week with just my man. We thought of them often, but we definitely enjoyed ourselves.

These dang waves wiped me out a few times. One attacked me and pulled me under, then I get up and another one takes me out. So embarrassing! A couple from our dinner table I guess were walking by and saw the whole thing. They told us about it that night. Totally humiliating! But this place is GORGEOUS!

This was on our ferry ride. We found a bunch of good stuff while shopping too. They had a bunch of super nice, expensive stores and a bunch of straw markets too. So awesome. We shopped at both. Oh and in our experience, the men are wonderful and the women are grouchy!
