Utah

The weekend after Wade left we headed to Utah. I am so glad we did because it was a nice distraction from being so sad. It was also the first time we met sweet little Bailee.

Brooklyn was definitely looking forward to meeting/watching/babysitting/holding/loving on Bailee. This made me so excited because she was amazing. She definitely has a very nurturing instinct. Plus Bailee was perfect so it made for a good match :)
Winter nurses but for some reason, that I can't remember, she needed a bottle and Brooklyn was first in line asking to feed her!
Weston and Blake are frien-emies. They were both really sleep deprived with no naps and both are quite feisty. But as long as we were out and about and away from the toys at home, they had a blast together!
SheShe spoiled all of us with See's! :)
Yes while we were there we chopped Weston's hair. I will post that later. I knew how good Weston would be with Bailee and he didn't disappoint. He is for sure old enough to really appreciate little babies. He was gentle, sweet, nurturing and cute.
 Cute little cousins.
The reason for the trip was because they were blessing Bailee. My great grandma bought Brooklyn this blessing dress. It is so gorgeous and so special, especially now they she is in heaven. I told my sisters ( and I will tell my brother's wife) that any girl in this family is more then welcome to use this dress. It means so much to me and now to Winter. Bailee looked gorgeous in it. My sweet Grandma Great now gets to be part of each blessing.
My mom is about to be a SheShe to five grandbabies. Crazy!
Love this picture. She is so darling.
I could seriously steal her and bring her home. She is so perfect and beautiful.
The day we were leaving I asked Winter, the master of braiding, to braid my hair so I wouldn't have to deal with it. I honestly haven't had my hair in braids since high school. When my brother saw me he said I looked like I was twelve. Ha, especially since I didn't have make up on either. I texted Wade this picture and he said I looked like I had a glow. HAHA! I don't think so. I have never seen a pregnancy glow btw.
Look at my sweet little buddie. He is so cute when he sleeps :) Oh and then look out his window and you will see the awful scenery that you see the whole 7 hours to UTAH!
The trip was great. I love my sister and her sweet family. Can't wait to see them for Halloween!
