Air Force Ball

Last weekend Wade and I attended the Air Force Ball. We hear that some AF Balls are lame and some are awesome. Thankfully this one was one of the awesome ones :)

We had a BLAST!

My Handsome date and I before the Ball. Thanks to my fabulous sister who came and stayed the night at my house and watched my kids. You are the VERY best Winter :)

I thought it would be challenging to find a dress that was fancy and modest. Turns out...I had some very good options. I am sad that you can't see my dress that well in pictures because it's black but I loved it and felt great in it! It had a little bit of a train that made me feel pretty but was not fun on the dance floor!

The President of the Arizona Diamond Backs spoke and he was awesome. They also had some traditional AF Ball traditions that I think are weird but Wade likes them.

Dinner was delicious! Steak and salad with some potatoes. And a yummy dessert :) We sat with the other JAG couples which made it fun!

I went to Dillard's and got my make up done before with Alissa and I am glad I did because it made me feel fancier :)

We ate, listened to the speaker and then danced the rest of the night until like 1130 pm and then we called it a night. The band who did the music ROCKED! He covered all the most fun and current songs and it was a blast! side note- AF wives can get down...I am sure the Alcohol helped  but there was some good entertainment on the dance floor;)

This was made after taking my hair out and ready for bed. My shoulders look weird in this pic but the dress was awesome!

So that was our first AF Ball and I can't wait to go again. It's fun to have a fun night getting pampered and dressed up and dancing the night away with my lover.
