A couple of weeks ago Brooklyn turned 7. Her actual birthday was on a Sunday and on General Conference so we celebrated the Saturday before...and on Sunday to, just all at home. This girl is so lovely and beautiful and smart and kind. I want to be like her when I grow up. She is so perfect and we are totally in love with her. Here is a recap of her birthday celebrations at school on Friday, her fun on Saturday, presents on Sunday and then her party the following weekend.
She wears a uniform everyday so it was fun for her to wear normal clothes for once. :) She brought cookies and some candy to her class. She was also reader of the day that day,so we got to see her read her book to her class.
These pics are out of order and I am too lazy to fix it :)
Saturday am SheShe, Brooklyn and I headed to get pedi's done before her soccer game.
Love my bestie best!
After the soccer games we headed to the pool for some swimming! The kids had a blast. Winter and he kids
joined us too!
That night we took her to Red Robin and she ordered a very fancy drink.
Sunday morning she woke up to lots of presents! She has been wanting to redecorate her room for awhile now. She spotted this line at Michaels that she fell in love with. It was all floral and vintage- she is her mama's daughter for sure! Wade got her this sweet microphone and she has been singing Frozen songs on it ever since.
We had such a great, relaxing day watching General Conference and eating everything in sight. We made sure to get all of her favorites. She requested cabbage chicken salad for lunch and shrimp for dinner. SheShe was here of course and Grandma Jenny and Pete came too which made it extra special!
The next weekend we hosted her 6 favorite friends from school and church for breakfast. She had some ideas of what she wanted as a theme and I ran with it. She wanted bright colors, flowers and polka dots. I think it turned out pretty fabulous!
We had donuts, deviled eggs, choco milk, yoart and fruit. All of her favorites :)
If you know Brooklyn, you know that every fancy meal we have, must have a place setting. Each girl had a place setting. The girls loved it.
We picked all of her friends up at the gate and they sang Frozen at the top of their lungs.
These are some happy looking friends ready to eat breakfast!
And this looks like one HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRL!
After breakfast we had some Frozen singing and dancing which was very darling!
Then we painted each girls nails. Brooklyn had a very detailed list of all the details of her party. One category of her list was everyone's jobs. Weston's job was to wash each girls hands prior to their nails being painted. He took his job very seriously.
Look at these cute girls. All of them are so sweet and respectful and FUN.
One of her friends's mom made Brooklyn this darling Frozen tutu and head band. It's awesome!
After presents they had a wrapping paper fight.
We had a coupon for a free cake and Brooklyn insisted we had to use it for her party.
Oh this girl. I love her so much and really enjoyed celebrating her. It was so cute seeing her with her friends. The party turned out just the way she wanted, which made me so happy!
Ugh, totally out of order but here we are at Red Robin. Brooklyn starts our marathon of celebrations! We just had Easter yesterday and we are on to Wade's bday this weekend, mine the next and then Weston's a few days later!
