A Visist from SheShe

My mom came down to sunny AZ last week. We had a fun time hanging out with the Sheesh (as Brooklyn sometimes calls her :)

We went to eat lunch one day at this little outdoor cafe. I love AZ and all of the great places to eat. And you just can't beat this weather right now. 

Ryan got this for his birthday and we put it together for him and he loves it. I am going to be sad when those chunky thighs become skinny minnies like Weston's did. He is so yummy right now. 

Ryan has been a good, sweet boy these last few days. Teething is such an awful experience for all involved and my kids are pro at being the worst teethers ever. Both boys have had awful behavior while teething. It seems to go in cycles and right now we are at a good, back to easy baby, point. 

My mom all dressed up for her interview. And guess what? She got the job, so my parents are moving to ARIZONA! 

Legs for days! I'm just a taaaaad jealous ;)

Brooklyn had Spring Break this last week and it was so fun. I wish I could have her home all day every day. We shopped a little, went to a splash pad, she slept over at Winters, we swam in the pool, we cleaned and organized, went to a ward picnic for lunch, played at the park, went to the Air show. It was so so fun!

SeeSaw time! 

Love me some sheesh! It's going to be fun having my mom here. How fun that they get to start a whole new, exciting life all over. They have lived in Reno for most of their life minus a few brief periods in CA.

Oh Weston. My rotten child right now. He is really challenging me right now and it's no fun. He has a bad attitude, kind of smart mouthy, and isn't the best listener right now. However, he is just the coolest, funniest kid ever and despite that fact that he rolls his eyes and won't listen, we love him and realize it's a phase and we will soon be over it. Weston is FAMOUS for phases. Every thing challenging is a phase.

We have started soccer again. We have practices twice a week(one for each kid) and it's right during dinner time. I hate it. I realize that's the reality of sports and practices, but I am a huge "we sit down for dinner as a family" kind of mom and practices from 530-630 mess that up and we end up grabbing something on the go.

We are in our "summer time" right now. Summer here for us is dreadfully hot so we enjoy our summer right now. AZ has so many of these splash pads every where. This one is at a super cute outside mall in Tempe.

Bailee and Ryan and way too cute together. Here they are trying to hold hands. They are super feisty with each other which makes for lots of laughs for us and lots of cries for them.

Wade has a huge trial starting tomorrow. JAG has been great for him. He has tried so many cases in the last 1.5 years. I think he is close to ten trials. Most private sector lawyers don't see that much litigation for years! He's a pretty good lawyer too. I think I am going to go watch him in action this week too.

We found this ridiculous fake leather outfit at Target for babies. Who would really put their cute baby into this? It is pretty funny.

Brooklyn just lost another tooth. This one was her first top tooth. Sadly, I don't share her same excitement. Kids are so funky looking with all of their teeth missing and all the wholes everywhere. But I love how excited she gets and I just smile and nodd. 

So that's what's been going on around here. Same ol' same ol'!
