Ryan the Birthday Boy and a Doggie Party

How did a whole year go by so fast? It's unreal. It's sad, my sweet Ryan is getting so big. February 27th is one of the greatest days and always will be. Ryan for the first 9 months was honestly pretty perfect. I always, and I mean always got comments wherever I went, that he was so perfect. He never ever cried, always smiled and was the happiest kid. Then 9 months hit and he got a tad more difficult. Now he is one and he is got a temper and an opinion. He doesn't like being confined AT ALL! Most of the time he is well behaved (I really have no grounds to complain, he's an easy kid) but he has been trying my patience lately :) He is almost walking and the fastest crawler you will ever meet. He loves all food, loves his two long naps and loves being around people.
Here are some pictures from his actual bday and then some from his puppy party.
Oh my sweet little boy. Instantly fell in love this day in 2013.
My BOYS! Never thought I would EVER say that I love my boys. Didn't really think I was a boy mom, but I totally am.
And then one whole year later and we are here with this boy eating pancakes on his birthday. His eyes and smile can light up the world.
Nana sent his a cute singing card that he loved.
His older sibs made him doggie pictures. Ryan is crazy about dogs. He sticks out his tongue and pants when he sees one :)
We filled the family room with balloons. He loved it!
In the afternoon we met up with Winter and her kids and went to lunch and then to Walmart. Look how cute Ryan Roo is! We got some ice cream at Mcdonalds too. He loved it.
After we went to the park. Ryan LOVED it. I love all 5 of these cuties.
A few days later we hosted some of our friends for a doggie party. Here were the "doggie bags".
I had fun with this party. We finally have a big enough house to host! YAY! We actually planned to have the party at a big park down the street but the one and only day it rains in AZ was the day of the party. So we moved it inside, which actually turned out better.
While Ryan was napping, Winter and I decorated and got stuff ready. When I got Ryan out of his crib and brought him down, I took him to the table. HE FREAKED out in excitement, giggled, waved to all the doggies and then put his tongue out and panted. Ohhhhhh that reaction made my whole entire year. It was so perfect!

The Birthday guests with the Birthday Boy.
Happy Birthday Ryan Roo. I don't know how we ever lived without this piece of heaven. Wade and I hit the jackpot with this kid. I thank Heavenly Father every single day for letting me have him forever. I get to be his mom forever, what a blessing!
