Easter Egg Dying

Last week Wade and I were shopping and he mentioned that we needed to get stuff to dye Easter eggs. I thought that it was so cute that he thought of that. Every other year prior to having Brooklyn I have bought stuff and we have never done it. He is not usually overly excited to do things like that. I guess being a daddy has made him appriciate the little things you get to do being parents. I also was talking to him on the phone the other day and I was telling him that I was going to go get Brooklyn an Easter basket. He said that I needed to wait for him to go do that. I was so excited that he said that. I remember when I was younger and babysitting and the parents would always go out and Christmas shop together. I remember thinking, I wanted a guy who wanted to take part in those things with me. Well...I guess I married the guy I always wanted huh? Anyway, we had fun dying the eggs. Wade even made me wait until Brooklyn woke up from her nap to dye them. He wanted her to help us. Way cute dad huh?

We took off her clothes to dye the eggs. Oh and she saw the peeps on the table and let me tell you, she had to have one!!!
Brooklyn totally posed for this picture. I guess she is understanding the idea behind the camera. She is so cute!!!
Wade concentrated very hard. His eggs actaully ended up being my favorite ones.
We did the tye dye kit, and it was way easier than dipping the eggs in the colored water. We even gave Brooklyn her egg to tye dye.
