My Favorite Things about Brooklyn Lately

I have not posted in awhile just about Brooklyn, so I decided to find the cutest pictures I took of just her on our trip and put with them some new funny things she is doing. Not all pictures relate to my favorite things, but I also wanted to post cute pictures of her too! Enjoy this very long but super cute post!

My most favorite thing about Brooklyn these days is how animated she is. She is also very dramatic. This picture proves my point to a tee. She was just excited about the flowers. Silly kid! Her facial expressions are to die for. I have never seen a kid with some of the ones she pulls out!

Brooklyn now is obsessed with pushing the stroller. She did this all around Temple Square. She even backs it up if she runs into something. Funny story...Jena and I were at Down East Basics and she was walking around like a menace and then spotted the dressing rooms. We watched as she squatted down and looked under the door to look at the girl in there. Jena and I LOVED it!
Brooklyn has come back from Utah a new kid. She has learned so many words. She learned what a dogs says. It us cute to see her try and say whoof whoof. My favorite is when she says... Whoa! It is the sweetest thing you have ever heard. Last night I was showing her a picture of Jesus. We worked on saying it and she said it a few times. Then I take her down the hall to her room and she points out another picture of Jesus and says "Jeez". I didn't even notice it until she poited it out. That moment amazed me as she instantly noticed another Jesus picture. This girl is so smart.
This is the smile she gives when we say smile! This is not her natural smile, but it makes us laugh hysterically every time she does this. Another funny thing she is doing is looking in the fire place glass and talking to herself. She will even wave at us as she notices that we are looking at her through the glass!

Brooklyn is really into climbing up the slide. I love to watch as she gets up on it and then slides down on her tummy. I am so enjoying times at the park and watching her have so much fun.
This picture was taken a Wingers...My fav. place to eat in UT/ID. I was with Jena and she and I had a yummy lunch! This is Brooklyn blowing kisses. I LOVE LOVE her kisses! They are so much fun to watch and to receive them. She is so lovable these days and I have to tell you I am loving every minute of it.
Brooklyn LOVES to clap. She claps at anything. When we say Amen she claps. If someone is clapping on tv she will join them. She can even notice if we are talking with an excited tone, she picks up on that and will clap. Her favorite times to clap is when she feels she has done something good or when she is proud of herself. Too Cute!
Oh, this is one of my fav. things she does. She points at EVERYTHING. I love it!


I love Brooklyn's curiosity. She is constantly observing other people. On the whole way home she stood like this on the airplane. She loves to interact with people. Yesterday we were at Walmart and she talked, waved, and smiled at everyone. I was unloading the bags into the back of my car and she waved to a man in a convertible and he even stopped to talk to her! I love this friendly, happy kid!
Something new that Brooklyn does is copy everything thing we do. I watched her the other day as she took my tooth brush and started brushing her teeth. Her motions were right on. Then she took the tooth paste and tried putting it on the tooth brush. My favorite copy cat move is when she gives me her baby and I put the doll up to my shoulder and pat its back and say hi baby, love you baby. She then wants the doll back and she puts the doll up to her and pats its back and says babe! These moments are so amazing!
