SUPER LONG POST

Here is my weekend recap...We had such a fun weekend! Friday Wade ended up getting home at 10:30pm and started at 7am. The leg. session was supposed to last all weekend but the legislators were able to get their act together and agree on how to fix our huge state deficit and ended at 10pm. Brooks' and I had no fun all of Friday. We pretty much just napped, ate, and totally just bummed around. We were so happy to have dad home all weekend, since we were expecting to be alone all weekend. We had SO much fun on Saturday...here is what we did! Bare with me this is a long one!

My grandma had a work summer BBQ so we went to Bowers Mansion and went to the BBQ with my mom, Reilly, Reilly's new g/f Kinsey, and my grandma. There was good food and tons of space no where near a road for Brooklyn to completely run wild. And she did that!
They also had a bounce house! Brooklyn fell in love. We are really going to be buying one this summer!
Uncle Reilly jumped in and jumped with her. She loved it!
She had a total ball trying to get up and walk a tiny bit and then completely crashing. She just laughed and laughed!
Then dad got in and then she really had a good time!
Friday while Brooklyn was sleeping for 3 1/2 hours...no joke, I cleaned our house really good! I keep being reminded from friends and family out of town that I need to post pics. of what our house looks like since no one really has been here! So I took the opportunity to clean and then take pictures to show everyone where we live!

Pool room! Big hit when friends and family do come to visit.
Here is our bedroom. I have to say for all of you who looked really close and noticed the big picture of the wine bottles. No... that is not ours. Some of the furniture and decorations are the owners stuff that we have to keep up so the house can show the way she likes.

After the BBQ we went to Kohl's and I bought a few shirts and Brooklyn ran wild in the store with Wade. Wade was so nice to watch her so I could shop the clearance! I found some really cute things for dirt cheap! Well after that we were looking for something to do and decided we would go to Hope Depot and buy flowers to plant outside in our planters.
This was way too much fun! Brooklyn loved to help me and get her hands dirty.
I came out from inside and found her like this...my glove on and the shovel and she was digging in the soil. I love that she always copies what I am doing.
