Summer Ends...

Here are some random pictures I have taken of Brooks' lately.

While Jena was here she allowed Brooklyn to feed herself and promised to clean the mess. Brooklyn learned right away and now can feed herself...but it's a messy process!
Brooklyn loved being by her Nana. She followed her everywhere and wanted to be by her all the time. She even woke up one morning and pointed out the door and said, Nana! She really got to spend some time with her Nana and she loved it! She loved sitting in the sink as Jena got ready!
We went swimming and Uncle Jake got to show us how he swims like a pro now!
Nana and Brooklyn!
And then this is Brooklyn. She loves hiding in all the boxes as we unpack! Goofy kid!
Here are some of the things that are on my mind as summer comes to an end. So if your not in the mode to read a bunch of nothing...go visit someone else's blog now:)

I must say that I have really been stressed out this week as I started to get my house back in order. Our renters definitely did not leave our house clean by any means so we have been spending the last week cleaning. Just yesterday and today we have started unpacking. My awesome mom came over last night and helped me get my pictures up and organize all my furniture. I really think our house is decorated and set up way cuter than we had it before. I am starting to feel at ease with moving back. We are putting in a back yard this weekend so I am even more happy about that!

Tonight we went to a bbq at our friends the Keele's. I feel so lucky to have such a GREAT set of friends. I am so thankful for the move we made up to the 3rd ward. Anyway, we had fun at the Keele's. I could bbq every weekend. So if anyone wants to bbq ever...let me know:)

Today at church we felt welcomed. I am really excited to make friends in this ward too, or get to know couples that we didn't get a chance to know before. On a different note... we had an AWESOME lesson in RS today. Sara...you did a FANTASTIC job on the lesson on motherhood. As I sat and listened, I felt so blessed that I get to be a mom and raise this precious spirit. I am so happy with my life at this point and I couldn't be more happy at the way Brooklyn is progressing and the job Wade and I are doing in raising her. Being a mom is the most rewarding, challenging, and absolutely the best thing I have ever experienced!

As the summer comes to an end and I start school again tomorrow, I have to say that we have had the best summer ever! We have made new friends, been to many bbqs, played many times at the park at play groups, vacationed a few times, played with family, late girl nights for So You Think You Can Dance, and not to mention 15 credits for school that I successfully completed!

As fall begins to approach on us means that we have some major decisions that Wade and I are going to need to make. Law School apps. are approaching, Navy might be a real possibility, and the process of getting our home ready to sell next year!

I am so excited for the next few months. I do start school again tomorrow... another 13 credits! I am actually taking a dance class every Tues. Thurs so I am super excited! I am really lucky that I get the opportunity to become educated and work on my degree. I am loving this period in my life. I love learning!
I think I am going to go private. A few instances recently have warranted me going private. This "journal" for me sometimes is too private and I really want to know who is visiting and knowing this much about my life. I am just too much of an open book for the public eyes!
Ok...that was really boring. Sorry, next post I promise will be super fun...hopefully!

Settling back into a home can be a lot of work, but it's a chance to get everything organized and in the perfect spot. You have great taste, so I'm sure your home is looking cute.

Sounds like you had a fun and relaxing summer - just the way it should be. Brooklyn is adorable!

Good luck with school. (And law school) Are you at UNR? What's your major?

Moving can be hard...I am not looking forward to the day we have to leave South Meadows ward. Who knows when it will be, but I'm sure I won't like it! Sounds like you had an awesome summer. Maybe we will see you more now that you are back at this end of town!

It was so fun seeing you today at Costco. HOpe all goes well with getting the nasty smell out of the house. Good luck! Have a nice trip to Utah this weekend. Call me when you get back.

Glad you guys got moved in okay and sorry about your renters, that is so lame! Brooklyn is getting so big, she looks like such a big girl feeding herself!

So, I don't mind if you leave me comments...you are funny, but here is my e-mail skkarrasch@gmail.com. I would give you my phone number, but I don't give it out over the internte :) So I totally want to see both of those movies. I die laughing every time I watch the House Bunny trailor. Kinda lame, but I love it. So we totally should go! Have fun in Utah and then we can get together later!
