Bye Bye Friends

The day before we left for Reno was so rough for me. We had to say our goodbyes to our very dear friends the Dakins' and the Petersons'. It was super rough for me. I cried a lot. We spent lunch with Debbie and her kids. It was soooo soooo soooo hard to say goodbye to Debbie. She made my life in Texas a dream. I cried and cried as I pulled away from them. Then that night we spent the evening watching The Bachelorette(our usual weekly tradition) with Chelsea and her girls. It was soo hard to say goodbye. I hate goodbyes. Who am I going to bbq with now? Who am I going to watch the Bachelorette with? Well thankfully we still have good friends to spend time with. We love our friends and wish them the very best and hope to see them again soon. I think we will stay friends :)

Chelsea had a bday party last Sunday that was super fun. Here are some of my girl friends minus a few. I am so thankful for good friends, oh soooo sooo thankful.
Here are my kids and Ben and Ev. Don't they look like they are happy friends geez? They are the bestest of friends and yet this last time together they fought! Brooklyn is going to really miss her buddy Ben.

Oh and don't these two look like happy friends? Goodness. They fought the last time together too. Callie was Brooklyn's first girl friend and I couldn't have picked a better little girl for Brooklyn to be friends with. These two have everything in common and love each other so much. I am devastated Callie is moving.

Had to get a picture of Weston and his little lady.

Callie and Brooklyn love playing Strawberry Shortcake. Callie is always Strawberry and Brooklyn is always Lemon Merangue(sp?). Callie gave Brooklyn a going away present and it was the two little dolls that represent them. So tender and cute.
Weston snuggling with Shawn. Wade is super sad too that Shawn is moving. Wade really loves the Petersons'.
Last Friday night we got a baby sitter and went out on a date with Chelsea and Shawn. We went to a Hibatchi grill and it was gooooood. It was so fun too. We always have a blast hanging out with them. We will miss you guys!
and Debbie, you KNOW how much I will miss you:)
Thankfully are friendships are good enough with both that we can remain friends long distance!

tender tender! We sure will/already do miss you guys! I'm so glad our paths crossed in Lubbock. Can't wait to see you in August. It'll be crazy hot (I'm already melting) but it'll be lots of fun. Enjoy home & we'll see you then :)
