The day before we left for Reno, Brooklyn started her dance class. She has been looking forward to her, "Hippopotamus" class for a long time. Every day she asked if it was time to go to dance. The day finally came and she was super excited. We signed her up for hip hop because I thought that fit her personality the best. Before class we stopped by Target for some things and found this cute outfit and I thought it was perfect for her to dance in.
Learning to tumble...not sure how that fits into hip hop, but whatever???
This picture is very deceiving. She appears to be following the dance moves and appears to be paying attention. That was not the case. The other little girls totally distracted her by grabbing her hand and wanting to spin with her, or she would be distracted by saying hi to us a thousand times(which was cute)!

I honestly was a bit disappointed. I thought the class could have been much better. They barely danced, they tumbled a lot, and the kids were crazy. I am not sure the teacher understood the capability of a 3 year old. Teaching them 5 consecutive dance moves didn't really work. The girl would just run in circles. They really danced for like 10 minutes :( Brooklyn left saying, "I didn't get to shake my bum!" Hopefully when we continue when we are back, the class will have figured it out and Brooklyn can go and shake her bum!
