Graduation was so surreal and bittersweet. It was exciting and sad. Graduation meant that we were done done. It's no seceret that we loved being at Tech, loved being students and loved living a simple little life in Lubbock. On the other hand we felt done and ready to move onto the next chapter in our lives.
Why is there something about graduation's that are so emotional even if it is not your own?
I love this little happy family that loved being a law school family.
This is when he first walked in. I cried a little :) I am soooo proud of Wade. He is so amazing and smart and hard working.
The graduation went pretty fast :) One HUGE mistake I made was trying to take pictures of Wade being hooded and up on the stage and I was so distracted on trying to take the perfect picture, that I totally missed actually watching him :( Thankfully my mom took a good video of it that I watched back.
He had his Arbitration coach, Sherri Kime-Goodwin and his Dean, Cal Lewis Hood him. Pretty special moment.
The kids were so excited to see him!
I am the proudest wife!!!!
Each of the kids wanted a turn at wearing the cap. So cute!
So this dress I am wearing is so special to me. We had a few fancy shmancy events in the last weeks of us being in Lubbock. One being the graduation. So Wade bought me this reallllllllly nice dress at Dillard's. We will be having a few events with JAG where I will need to have a nice dress...so it will get it's money worth. And pictures don't do it justice. It's feels buttery and has this gorgeous pattern on it. Now I am on the hunt for some fab shoes to go with it.
After the ceremony we headed over to the school for a nice reception. Loved the food.
Proud parents!
Grandma Iverson, Me, Wade and his coach Sherry.
These our are good friends the Meringolas'. They met their first year of law school and now are married. So sweet huh?
Here is Wade with Dean Lewis (other hooding professor). He was a HUGE reason Wade got hired with JAG. He was a former TOP JAG and wrote Wade the most impressive letter of recommendation which included him saying that Wade was in the top 10 students he has ever worked with. Wade got really close to him while Wade served as the Law school president.
What a crew! Love every single person in this picture!
Wade graduated Magna Cum Laude. How impressive and amazing. I still don't know how I got so lucky to marry such a successful guy! He is my favorite person ever and I absolutely LOVE him!
