Welcome to our House on base!

I finally feel like my house in order. It's taken awhile though. Usually I have my house unpacked and set up in a week from moving in. This time was way different for a few reasons. I was here for 3.5 weeks without my stuff. Then Wade comes with our stuff from storage. We got all unpacked and then headed to Reno for Christmas. Since being home we have slowly decorated and organized. Going from a 2 bedroom apartment to a big 4 bedroom house is quite expensive :) I am pretty frugal though so I slowly bought stuff, I was really patient for the right price and ended up with a cute house I think :) All of my purchases for the house came from  TJ Max, Ross and Marshalls.
These are pics of just some of the down stairs. The upstairs still is in progress along with our bedroom and dining room. Once those rooms are done I will post more pics for the fam to see :)

I was so excited when I pulled up to this house. It looked perfect from the outside! And I love that there is space on both sides of the house. Our back yard is good size too, it's just not even close to being done. The previous renters let the grass die.
Here are some pictures of the family room. It's a really long long room and it was very hard to buy furniture and figure out how to place it.

We are in the process of selling the long leather couch in the back ground. Until that happens it is staying there!
View from the front door. This house is lovely, but has a really weird blocky layout.

My most favorite piece in this house is this chair I got at Ross for $80.00 Bucks! And that desk is bigger in person. It looks tiny!

This shelf area is so cool. But, it really isn't decorated yet. Right now it just holds a bunch of random decor that needs a home.

My laundry room. I LOVE LOVE LOVE having a big laundry room. It actually is usually pretty tidy, but today when I was taking pictures it wasn't. And, I wasn't in the mood to clean it just for a pic.
Huge kitchen. Love all the counter space and all the cupboards. I don't even really use the bottom cupboards.

And this is the amazing pantry. I use it for all of my appliances, recycling, ect. I love it! I just wish it had a door so when you are in my living room you can't see it!

So that's some of the house for now. My family asked for pics-hope you are happy for now. I will post the rest when I have the rest done :)

You guys are lucky! We have had adjoining houses the last two bases. It isn't so bad because we have had good neighbors, but all the same, it would be nice to have a single family home. The thing they all have in common are odd layouts and white walls. :) Glad you enjoying military life thus far!
