Carnival Fun

Last Saturday we went to Brooklyn's school carnival. It was so much fun and a much needed family outing.
Last week was super rough at work for Wade. He is just so incredibly busy with multiple cases, a 50 page brief, legal assistant clients, he runs the tax center, taught Sunday school and EQ yesterday, ect. Anyway, it was the craziest week for him and he has been incredibly stressed out. And if you know Wade at all you know he is never really stressed. So when he is stressed he doesn't know how to handle it at all and freaks out. Poor guy. This week isn't much better for him either. He is leaving for a training too this week! He is not sure he is going to survive :) Thankfully he took a break from the looney bin and we had a nice family day!
Best baby ever. I love him and I love how easy and sweet he is. He slept the entire time we were there/
The carnival had 8 different types of bounce houses. This one was so so fun!
Poor Brooklyn is starting to realize that Weston is a a competitive athlete and pretty skilled. He beats her at anything sports/throwing/kicking, ect. She got a little sad when he kept beating her.
Today I was getting ready in my bathroom and the kids were out eating breakfast. I heard Brooklyn ask Weston, "We are best friends aren't we Weston?"
music.to.my.ears.
I love their friendship and I love how much they adore each other.
This little bouncey type thing was super cute. They raced down the lane by bouncing on these little horses.
I got Weston into a preschool for the rest of the school year. He is so excited. It's only till the end of May but it will be great for him and allow me to have time to go out on Relief Society visits and take care of my calling. He starts on Friday!
This is the school mascot-a road runner. Weston loves mascots :) He is also currently loving watching March Madness with his dad. It's so fun to watch Weston get so pumped about watching whatever team he picks. Poor Wade is catching games here and there. This is his most favorite time of year and I am sad he is so dang busy and can't really get into it this year.
We were asked to speak on Sunday- EASTER SUNDAY! Talk about pressure. Everyone expects a good Easter program. And of course we are speaking about The Atonement and The Resurrection-Two of the most important and sacared events that ever happened on this earth. I hope we do a good job!
I love Wade. I cannot get enough of him and think he is the best of the best. He is so good to me and so good to our kids. I keep thinking of all the things I want to be teaching my kids and the opportunities I want them to have. Every time I think about those things I think of what a good example Wade is. He is showing Weston how to love and treat a wife and teaching Brooklyn what a good husband looks like. So thankful I chose him!
Brooklyn got her report card on Friday. She is the bomb. She moved up three reading levels in 7 weeks and now reads at a 1st grade reading level. By the end of the year her teacher said she will be reading at a 2nd grade level. Considering she didn't know how to read when we moved here...we are THRILLED!
I always have so much I want to write on my blog and then I never remember it when I actually sit down to blog. So annoying. Speaking of blogging...it's sad that now blogging lands on my to do list for the week. A few years ago-even a year ago...I had time and motivation. I still love it and think documenting our life is so important...life is just getting crazy!
Weston was a little too little for this one so Wade had to get up there and help the little guy.
I seriously can't think of anything else! And it's taking me over an hour to get this far:)

Lets talk about the weather...89 this week. We are in March...I am gunna die this summer!!!!!!!
Ok time to go. I have a baby to feed, some catch to play with Weston and a list full on my to do list!
bye!
