Mother's Day Was Amazing

It's no secret how much I love my kids, how much I adore being Wade's wife and I blessed I am to be a mom. I love Mother's day...maybe even more then my bday(and anyone that knows me knows what a huge birthday fan I am). Being a mom is so wonderful and I love having a day to celebrate motherhood. I love focusing on how much I love my own mom and how much I love Wade's mom. It's just one of the best holidays ever :) And yesterday was one of the best.

I woke up to Ryan's cute little voice letting me know he was hungry. It was a little earlier then normal like 6ish. I was hoping Wade would get him like he usually does on the weekends, but he was dead asleep because he had the busiest day on Saturday. Anyway, it was ok. I woke up in a good mood and happy to see Ryan's smiling face :) Then the other two came in later all excited about Mother's day. They gave me their gifts they made from school. I forgot to upload the pics of them. They were beyond darling. Next post I will include them.

Then we all got out of bed and Wade made me my special breakfast. Bacon, egg and cheese bagel. I LOVE them and he makes them so good! Then I opened my mother's day gift. Wade got me a tablet and I love it.

Then we got ready for church. I love that mother's day is always on a Sunday and we get to go to church.

Church was great as always. The Bishopric gave all the women legit cheese cake. I had a raspberry one and it was delicious! After church Wade cleaned the whole house for me. Not the best Sunday activity but he was so kind and got mad at me anytime I tried helping. He is so good to me. Then he made some amazing steak on the bbq. Jenny was able to come over and it was wonderful having her and being able to show her how much we love her, she is like our second mom.

The whole day was so great. My kids were so good to me and Wade made me feel loved and special.

I was thinking yesterday about all the little things I love about being a mom and wanted to include them on my post.

* I love when Weston sits in the hole as he calls it. You know when you lay on your side on the couch with your legs bent. There is this space between my legs and the couch and anytime I lay on the couch he loves to hop in the hole. I love love love it.

*I love when I pick up my kids from school. I love hearing about their day and they are always so excited to see me.

*I love how Ryan's whole body goes crazy when I get near him. I know he wants me to pick him up and I love that he needs me.

*I love when Brooklyn tells me that I make good meals. She loves my cooking and always tells me that I make good, healthy meals for her :)

*This morning during breakfast I got out the Gospel Art book and we talked about some of the scripture stories. I love teaching my kids about the gospel.

* I love that when my kids have bad dreams they come to my side of the bed and wake me up. They could go to Wade, but they always come to me.

* I love packing their school back packs. And I love unpacking them after school and looking through the things they did that day.

*I love love love being in the car with my kids. We talk about so many things and I have started turning off the music more so we can really chat and laugh. It's great. We have so many good conversations in the car.

*Mainly I just love my kids and love being their mama!

I had so many other things I thought about yesterday and I should have blogged then because I forgot them all now. ughh. The jist is that I have the greatest job in the world. Wade has given me the greatest gift ever. Being able to stay home with these three kiddies is so great!
