I am in desperate need of an update. I think I have totally skipped Ryan's whole life so far. Poor little buddy. So here is an update all about him!
He wins best baby ever award. I think I have said that about all three of my kids though. He is easy easy. He is so extremely happy. He will only cry if he is hungry or tired. He is a smiling fool and his whole face lights up when he is happy. He is by far our chubbiest baby. He is the tallest too. I have to literally wipe in between his rolls on his legs. He definitely likes his alone time to be on the floor. When he is tired he wants to be cuddled. I love that :)
Wade and I always said that a mixture of him and I would be a perfect kid. Weston is ALL me and Brooklyn is ALL Wade. Ryan Roo is a perfect mixture of both of us! So I guess he is pretty much perfect right ? ;) To say that I love this little guy is a huge understatement. I am pretty much in love and cannot get enough of him. If we could trap him to be 2 months forever we would. He is happy, causes no problems, sleeps through the night and is so cute!
Love you Roo!
How about a Wade update? He is still busy at work. We have come to realize that will NEVER change. At least not at this base. It's a good thing though. He is home every night between 530-6 unless he has deadlines. He plays on a church bball team, so that's fun. He works out twice a week in the AM with his legal office. He teaches the 14 year old youth during Sunday School and they all love him. He is a fantastic teacher. He is a great husband and is a great dad and a great lawyer!
Brooklyn! Brooklyn is going through a tad naughty phase. It's a relative term because she really isn't naughty but for her it's naughty. Not listening too well, yells and bosses her brother around, she has even hit/pushed him which is so unlike her and is just off. But...she is such a good kid and we love her. She had a dance recital last weekend and it was the cutest thing ever. I have more about that in the next post. She moved up three levels in reading and is now reading at a 2nd grade reading level. Go Brooks! I helped out in her class this week and loved every minute. I miss her so much when she is at school. I need Brooklyn in my life and and I am so lucky to be her mama. She is definitely a best friend of mine and I adore every little ounce of her. Plus she has legs for days and I am jealous ;) jk Love you little lady!
Spring time in our family means the marathon of birthdays. It started April 6th with Brooklyn's. Next week is Weston's bday! We celebrated with a VERY last minute party for both of them. More on that in the next update too! These two are the bestest of friends. They definitely get along more then they fight. I wonder how long that will last? I feel like our family is growing up and it's so fun and sad. It's going so fast. It's so fun at the same time because them being older allows us to do so many fun things and they enjoy things so much more. This weekend we are headed to San Diego and to Sea World. They are excited.
Weston is the best. He is just so fun and so cool. He missed the soccer age requirement by 2 months. On Brooklyn's first practice her coach saw him dribble the ball up and down the side lines and asked why the heck he wasn't on the time. After we explained he wasn't' old enough by two months he asked if he could practice with them. So Weston gets to play every Wednesday with them just not the Saturday games. It's so amazing to watch Weston. He is such a soccer star and better then any other boy on the team. Parents always comment that they wish Weston could be on the team. I can't wait to see how good he will get :)
He is also doing preschool and loves it. But...I seriously miss that boy the whole 2.5 hours he is there and can't wait until it's 1130 and I get to pick him up. He is my buddy and I need him :) Love you Chunnie!
Last night we went to the Giants game. They were here playing the AZ Diamondbacks. It was so fun and we LOVED being able to watch our Giants. We are loving being in an area that has so much to do. You really can't beat the Phoenix area in terms of things to do. It's been great. We love Luke too. It's a GREAT base.
This was last Saturday. It was Wade's bday and we went to PF Changs. YUM!
I love being married. I love Wade and I love love love being a wife. Sure it's so hard and it's the hardest thing to make work but it's so awesome and brings me the most happiness. I was telling our kids the other day about why I don't work. I told them how blessed I am to be able to stay home and it's all because of Wade. He has worked so hard to have a career that makes great money and allows me to be able to be at home with our kids. It's an honor and I love it. The only thing that worries me is that I hope I am doing enough. This world is so scary.
Macy has been here for a week and it's been so fun. She leaves for her mission in a month. boo. But I am so excited for her and jealous, I always wanted to serve a mission. Spain is such an awesome call too!So that's about it! Just busy and happy and enjoying all the craziness!
