San Diego/My 28th Birthday

Once again I have found myself super behind on blogging. I am so determined to keep this journal going despite how hard it is now. I don't know why it is, but I just have lost so much interest. But it's important so I am going to keep at it :)
Two weeks ago, we all headed over to San Diego. It's a five hour drive, so quick and easy. It was so fun to spend my bday there and to have Macy join us for one last vaca before her mission.

We stayed at the Navy Lodge on Coronado Island and it was ultra fabulous. Right on the beach and the hotel was perfect.
These two ran up and down the beach for awhile and it was so fun to watch. We are in love with the beach!
Wade did and always makes sure that I am spoiled and extra loved on any holiday but especially on my bday.
He treated me to a pedicure before dinner and I loved it. My toes are a cute aqua/teal color and they are dang cute! :)
Brooklyn didn't like the salt water but still loved playing in the water. She spent a lot of time writing in the sand and collecting sea shells.
Love any opportunity to wear my floppy hat :)

This little guy just slept under the umbrella the whole time. Such a sweetie!
Little bday message from Wade.
A school of dolphins came to shore. They stayed for awhile too. It was soooo awesome!

We never got to use the pool. We were in Cali for 4 days and the first two were amazing weather. We planned on being at the pool and spending more time at the ocean on Sunday and Monday but it was pouring rain both days so it ruined it:(
Happy boy makes for a happy mama! Ryan seriously is making me wonder how many more kids I want. I thought I wanted one more. 4 has always been my number. But this little guy is seriously making me think I need at least 2 or 3 more. For reals. I have to do this at least a couple more times! Call me crazy!
So after our pedi's we headed to dinner on the water. A few years ago Wade's grandparents took us to Anthony's for dinner and it was delish. So we went for there for my bday too. It was yummy and I loved being on the water.
So that was my 28th birthday! I can't wait to turn 30. Call me crazy, but I think my 30's are going to be awesome!

PS..we are twinsers...I have that same purple shirt...gotta love Target! And I think I might need to get me a floppy hat...though I would never be half as cute as you!
