My Grandmama and Lake Tahoe

Here are the last pictures from our Reno trip. At least I hope so I can move onto some recent happenings!
My mom and Grandma. It's getting really hard coming to terms with what is happening to my sweet Grandmama. ALS is the worst possible diagnosis one can ever receive. I hate it and I hate what it is going to end up doing to her.I pray every for her, her sweet husband Allen and my mom and aunt-those closet to her that have to watch it happen. ughh.
But really I admire her so much. She is so positive, happy, and endures incredibly hard trials well. I pray that if given the trials she has had, I will be able to be just like her. She is a wonderful example of someone who is happy, positive, strong, beautiful and faithful.
Love these two. I miss them both. Macy is in Spain now. I am so happy for her but so sad at the exact same time. It's hard not being able to talk to her everyday and the hardest part is knowing how much longer I have. 18 months is a long time.
Love this picture!!
We made it up to Tahoe! Tahoe is heaven on earth if you ask me.

While we were in Reno, Weston went through a very weird phase. He showed about every sign in the book for having Type 1 diabetes. He had extreme thirst, severe fatigue, peeing like crazy, awful mood swings, super grouchy, hungry all the time, ect. I was really scared at first. Needless to say the minute we got home I booked him an appointment with the Doctor. He was tested and it came back negative. Thank goodness. The Doctor said is was a major growth spurt. The symptoms have since slowed down or diminished.
At the lake this little guy was perfect. Just slept or people watched.
This picture is not flattering of any of us but I threw it up anyway.I love being able to enjoy Tahoe with my kids and they always fall in love with it just like I do. My kids beg to go to Tahoe.
This last trip was an weird one. Emotional, lots of illness, rain and cold for a few days, 100 plus weather a few days, busy, slow...just weird. But given all that, I loved being in Reno with my family and always will enjoy my visits to visit my family!
