Glasses

My little buddie got glasses a few weeks ago. His eyes were starting to cross big time and one eye was getting lazy. So we took him in and discovered the reason was because he was a little (not even a lot) far-sided. Had it not been for the cross eyed he wouldn't even really need glasses. Anyway, the doctor told us if he wears glasses it will correct the crossing. When he takes them off they will still cross and they do. The Dr. hopes/thinks that he will outgrow it as a late teenager. In the meantime he is a glasses wearing boy.
Everyone is always shocked that he actually keeps them on. He never really takes them off and is so good about wearing them. He isn't a fan of wearing them at all but he is obedient and does it. I think he looks cute in them. I wish he didn't have to wear them but it is what it is. You wouldn't believe the comments he gets from people at church, stores, ect. People think he looks super cute in them and always comment that his glasses are really cool. ehhh, I wouldn't go that far but I am so thankful that people think that and express that to him and I. It makes him feel better.
The only thing that is worrying me is that he constantly complains that his vision is blurry with the glasses on. He never complained about blurred vision prior to the glasses. The crossing is pretty much gone with the glasses on but he shouldn't have blurred vision. I called the nurse and she said we need to let him get used to it. I think something is up. He shouldn't have blurry vision when wearing glasses. Poor kid :( And it's been a few weeks and nothing has changed.
These glasses are rubber and super durable. The lenses are CONSTANTLY dirty though. I don't know what to do about it!
I love this cute, goofy kid glasses and all :)
