We woke up the second day and headed to Anacortes, WA. It was about an hour and a half outside of Seattle. From there we took an hour long ferry ride out to the San Juan Islands. We spent the entire day there.
Before we left we grabbed a hot chocolate. I am so odd...I only like cheap, swiss miss like hot chocolate. Fancy shmancy stuff I don't like. This ended up in Wade's possession. It was way too rich.
Anyway, it was a gorgeous ferry ride.
And can I mention how much I loving wearing a scarf and holding a coco. AZ is killing me right now. Sept and over 100.

Right when we got there we grabbed lunch at a place by the shore. This was out view from our table. We had some ok food :(

After lunch we were deciding what we should do. We headed to the moped rentals and almost rented mopeds to ride around the Island on. Then we decided not to and did something way better.
We hopped in these suits.
I felt like we were hazmat employees.
We jumped in an explorer raft and headed out to see killer whales.
That boat/raft went super fast. This was Wade's hair after we got out to see the whales.

Wade loved these cliffs.
Then we spotted them! That was a very cool feeling.
We've been to SeaWorld and seen whales, but seeing killer whales out in the wild is amazing. Once in a life time type of thing.
If you look real close this one came up out of the water. Coolest moment, right there.
After we hurried and grabbed an ice cream and headed back onto the ferry to go back.
We stopped for Taco Bell on the way out. (Super fancy dinner huh?)
We got back to our hotel around 1030 at night and zonked right out. We had a long, super fun day!
