Boring post

This last weekend was the best weekend ever! Wade and I decided that our life was becoming a little boring and we needed to change some of the things we were doing. Usually we just stayed home and didn't do much and I think we were getting in a rut. So we talked about it and decided to make a change. So every night and weekend we are going to stay busy and do things together. This last weekend we went to the park, played outside, shopped a little together, went out to dinner, ran errands and just spent time together. Last night we went to Walmart and bought some board games and also played in the base ball section of the store. Brooklyn loved playing with a little girl glove and loved to play with the balls. I am surprised that we didn't get kicked out of the store:) We are going to start buying things to do outside together since the weather is getting so nice. We are going to buy roller blades, a baseball glove for wade (I have one since I used to play softball) and things like that to keep us occupied and having fun. We also have thought of some really yummy meals that we are going to make together.

On a TOTAL different note, yesterday I was at home and I felt 4 big earthquakes that scared me to death. I guess there were 27 of them yesterday up here in the N. W. part of Reno. Pretty scary huh?

Anyway, I know this is a boring post but as you all know this is my journal as your is for you, so I wanted to post some of the good news happening with Wade and I! I think we are on a good path to being active and busy.

This sweatshirt reminds me of Rainbow Sherbet(my fav. ice cream)! I thought she looked cute and yummy in it!
Here is Brooklyn outside in her element. She loves playing with Sage!
Whenever we are in Puerta Vallarta we obviously eat authentic Mexican food, so we decided we would try to make tacos the way they do. Tacos made here are not the tacos made down there. No lettuce, tomato, no ground beef. They are just chicken, onion, cilantro and guac. or salsa. Man they were yummy. We also grilled some green onion with olive oil and garlic, a true Mexican classic! This is even homemade guacamole. Wade did a great job on the grill and I think we are going to have to make them again real soon.

Hey Lindsay I finally found your blog and thought I would post. Ashel and I are boring too. We would love to get together and play baseball with you two (I played softball too). Also when it gets warm we should take our girls to RSR park. Well this is getting long, sorry. :)
