This weekend is going to be busy! I have a ton of homework to get done this weekend. We also have our friends bday party and a wedding reception to go to. Not to mention someone from our RS thought it would be a good idea and ask me to give the RS lesson this week! Hey... I am new in the ward, arn't I off limits for at least a couple more weeks??? It is on Baptism and The Gift of the Holy Ghost. Easy, but so not enough time this weekend. I am stressing!
I also wanted to share this cute story. On Wednesday night Wade and I took Brooklyn to Petsmart. We thought it would be something she would enjoy and something to keep us busy. Our time there was way BETTER than I thought it would be. We first took Brooklyn by the fishes. She liked them and could not stop starring at them. Then we headed to see all the dogs that were there. She liked them but we have a dog, so they were old news. Then to the birds. She liked them. It wasn't until we got to the hamster/gerbil section that she started Freaking out with excitement. We put her down by all the closed cages and she went NUTS! I wish I would have had my camera or video camera b/c it was priceless! She banged on the cages(opps!) and talked to them, laughed continuously and had the greatest time playing with them(through the cage of course)! Wade and I loved watching her! We tried taking her back to the dogs and she walked away from us back to the gerbils. I guess we might have to get a gerbil!!! NOT!
So if you need an entertaining 30 minutes take your kid to the pet store!
One more thing...Yesterday I was doing dishes and I stepped away to answer the phone and walk back to find that Brooklyn had decided to take a seat! Excuse me Brooklyn...this is not going to happen again! It is bad enough that she takes all the silverware out every time! She is pretty cute and guilty though!

That Hamster story is pretty funny! Good luck with your busy weekend!
Hey girl! I can't believe Brooklyn is a year already - where does the time go? She is 20 pounds at a year, and Hoyt is 21 pounds at 7 1/2 months?! Crazy! I am kind of new at the blogging thing; thanks for leaving me a comment. Go ahead and put us on your list - when I figure out how to do it, I'll put you on ours too! :)
Hope teaching in your new ward went ok-Brooklyn is so cute, I love watching kids at the pet store-they love it!
PetsMart is Camden's favorite too. The hamsters and rats he loves as well as the fishies. It could be a future date for them. As to the dishwasher...I think every mom has that same picture. What is it with kids thinking it is the best seat in the house? Glad your lesson went good though. That's just not cool to call on the new girl though.
