Brooklyn FINALLY gets to be a big SISTER!!!

Today Brooklyn, Wade, and I headed to Dr. Omar's office for a mini ultra sound. Guess what she told us?????????? Brooklyn is going to be a BIG sister!!! We are Expecting # 2 this coming May!

Although we have known this little secret for awhile now, it is so nice to be "officially" told that we are pregnant with a healthy baby up to this point! We pray that the baby will continue to grow and be 100% healthy! The reason we went in for an ultra sound was because I was feeling some pain in my stomach and lower back. To be on the safe side she wanted to bring me in and check me a little earlier than Nov. 7th (my original appt.)

We couldn't be happier! This baby was planned, so totally not a surprise!

Here are the details and fun info :)

* My due date is May 22. Dr. Omar informed me I was a week later than I originally thought! What fabulous news! I thought I was due May 27!
* We are hoping for a boy this time. Since this is probably our last :( we would like a boy. But don't get me wrong, we would be THRILLED for a little girl too!
* Brooklyn is going to get the baby she has been waiting so long for!
*Our two kids will be 25 months apart which is Exactly how we wanted them spaced out!
*I have yet to be sick! Since I am pretty much through my first trimester, I don't think I will be getting sick! I wasn't sick with Brooklyn either!
* On the other hand, I have ZERO energy, I take about 4 hours worth of naps per day, and I have had some headache issues, but other than that, I feel great!
*I still have yet to show. I am not even close :( Everyone I know who has had two is showing by now!!! What is my deal??? For those of you who really know me... You will remember how badly I wanted to show with Brooklyn and really didn't start to show until 6 or 7 months. I love the look of a belly. I guess being tall hides it really well! I love pregnant bellies!
*One bad piece of news was the my blood pressure was high, which is soooooooooooo not good. I was on bed rest for 11 weeks last time with pre-term labor, pre-clampsia, and bad hypertension. This is not a good indicator for me. Hope we can get that stabilized here soon!
