18 months already?

Brooklyn is old. I cannot believe she is now a year and a half years old. She is the absolute cutest little girl I have ever seen. I am so in love with Brooklyn and I know her dad is too! She totally makes our lives complete. At this moment my life is perfect! She is such a sweet, loving, funny, animated, beautiful, SMART, and fun girl to have in our family!

Here are some pictures I have taken of her recently. I also want to list 18 things she is up to or likes...that way I don't forget how cute an 18 month old is!

1. Brooklyn loves all her body parts and the body parts of others.
2. She eats a strawberry or blueberry waffle EVERY morning without fail. She loves them!

3. Brooklyn loves Curious George. It was the first movie her dad and she watched together. Now she has the stuffed animal, the monkey costume, and the movie and she loves it!

4. Brooklyn always wants to go Buh bye! If we are home for too long she will go to the door and ask to leave. During General Conference she BEGGED to go buh bye. She is just like her mom!

5. She is now sitting on the potty and LOVES it. We realize it is a bit early to potty train her, so we only put her on there when she beggs us to. Every diaper change we sit on the potty because she immediately says potty. Never has she gone potty, but as long as she is interested, I will take it!
6. She has developed a love for coloring. She wants to color all day long.

7. Brooklyn enjoys making us laugh. She is also LOVES attention...who would have known?

8. Anytime we are on our way to my parents house, Brooklyn knows where we are and says "BA Pa"(how she says grandpa). She is right every time.

9. On Monday we went to the Sac. zoo with Teri and Kade. Oh MY Goodness, I had no idea how much she loves animals. Wade is talking about getting her a turtle because she fell in love with them at the zoo.

10. Brooklyn is bossy. Guess that happens when you are the oldest/only child. She always bossed Sage around. It is cute and super funny.

11. She loves Jamba Juice. We go there at least once a week.

12. She also loves chocolate. Nana (Wade's mom) got her loving chocolate right away.

13. She is super independent and wants to do things all by herself. At the same time, she is totally not stubborn and usually will give in and let you help.

14. She also loves her shows. In the morning we have been hanging out in bed a little longer than usual. While I watch GMA, she takes the remote, points it to the tv and asks for Mickey. Then if a commercial is on during one of her shows she wants to change the channel. She definitely knows what she wants!

15. Brooklyn is still to this day OBSESSED with fruit snacks. She has at least 2 per day. I wonder if she will ever get sick of them.
16. She asks every day to go swimming. She will bring me her swim suit, her towel, swim diaper, ect. It is sad because we never can go since all the pools are closed.
17. The camera is her new best friend. She doesn't like me taking pictures, she wants to take the pictures and then look at them once she is done. She can even turn the camera on, take a picture, look at it and then turn it back off.
18. This kid Loves to be goofy. Hence the funny picture. She totally thrives on being funny and getting laughed at.

Oh one more...She finds her way to time out a couple of times a day. She stays there for a minute, then I open the door, and she runs to me and says sorry. She actually is learning to obey!

This is Brooklyn talking. We have tried getting her to talk on camera forever but she never does it. This is a pretty good one, the only problem is that she talks a lot better than she performed here. And I always forget what she can say, so these are all the lame words I could think of. Still super cute though! Better luck next time!

The pictures are just too cute and such a good idea to write what she likes that way you don't forget many years later;-) Daniel watched intensely the whole video. I wonder if he thought "how come she talks and I don't" LOL. She is very smart little girl.

Way cute post, I love her hair on top of her head with a bow! I am sorry you had to give up your dog, I sometimes think about doing it too.
Also where did you get your cute link thing that says families are forever? I love it!

She's a sweetheart. You are so smart to be writing these things down, because (believe it or not!) -- time will fly and you really will not remember.
