On Friday evening we returned home from the hospital. It was a very neat feeling bringing home my two kids. Brooklyn immediately showed her baby brother where he sleeps, where she sleeps and all of his stuff. She has been SO overly soft, gentle, loving and kind to Weston. I think my favorite part of this experience so far has been watching Brooklyn take over her role as big sister. She instinctively knows just what to do with him and just how to perfectly love him. I will blog all about that later.

Anyway, we are all doing great! Weston is sleeping REALLY well, eating REALLY well, cuddling REALLY well and bringing us so much happiness. I never imagined I could love another child like I do Brooklyn, but sure enough, I am SO in love with my little guy. There really is nothing like a son. He absolutely melts my heart. My life right at this moment is perfect:) Just perfect...****
Today is Mother's Day. We went to church; yes I went to church 4 days after he was born. Yes I heard it all..."You are crazy!" Yep I guess I am, but I am not one to stay at home. I didn't let anyone touch him and I left right after Sacrament. My mom and Wade's mom thought I was fine:) If it wouldn't have been the Mother's day program I would have waited until next Sunday! After church we had a bbq at my parents. It was great. It is a perfect Mother's Day this year. My two kids, my great husband who spoiled me all day long, my mom and family close by, and Jena and JaNae and Hayden all to spend the day with!****
Well here are a TON of pictures. This may be the longest post in my blogging history:) Enjoy my happiness!

Oh and they are all over the place and not at all in order.
Brooklyn and Weston cuddling together Friday morning.
See how much she already loves him?
We did feed Weston a bottle on Thursday night and into the morning because Wade wanted to take care of Weston all night so that I could just sleep and get recovered. I wanted Weston to go to the nursery for the night and for Brooklyn to go to my parents or home to my house with Jena, but Wade insisted both of his kids stay right there with us. He took care of Weston all night long for me. He really slept all night but did wake up twice to eat and diaper changes. Wade is such a great hubby. ***Here is Brooklyn helping dad feed her baby brother.
Me and my new love. What a great Mother's Day gift. He is the sweetest boy.
Brooklyn put these little animals on him showing she could share.
My two kids:)
I LOVE LOVE LOVE them.
This is me and Brooklyn after we got transferred into our post pardom room. Brooklyn was exhausted and just laying with me watching a show.
I love this picture.
First bath in the nursery.
I do not thin he knew what was coming because he looks so peaceful.
Wade's mom made it to Reno 30 minutes before I started pushing. Thankfully she was there because I wanted her to be there for my labor. Timing was perfect. Now this weekend we got to spend Mother's Day with her.
First family picture. Not the greatest but not the worst. We are a cute family I think though!
Brooklyn wanting to hold Weston, me smiling at her cuteness, Wade posing for a picture, and Weston sleeping.
Brooklyn minutes after she met Weston. I will blog all about that later too!
This is the first time she saw Weston. She immediately put out her hands and said, "I hold you!" Oh yeah...I will blog about that later!
And this was the first time I met him. I loved him right away.
My huge self before labor.
This is Wade and Weston yesterday. There was a Giants game on and Wade put his Giants shirt on. Brooklyn then went and got hers and then insisted Weston wear his. I am bummed because Brooks was sleeping when we took this or else we could have had a picture of the three of them.
And finally...Happy Mother's Day to my mom. She is great and I really love her. Here she is with her two beautiful grand kids.****
I obviously have a whole lot more to update about. I am feeling great, almost fully recovered. The second is much easier:) Oh and Winter, Reilly and Chance made the drive on Friday night and surprised me on Saturday! That was such a great treat! Blog about that later too!

Congrats!! He is a cutie! Brooklyn was talking about the baby at Sara's BBQ and it was so cute!

Congratulations, you guys! I love the name you picked-it's such a great name.
That is so exciting for you guys to have two cute little kids! Congratulations again!!!
Ohhh, seeing your cute family made me all teary eyed and even a little baby hungry, but not that much. I just love new babies, I need to come and hold him and smell that new baby smell. Avery's 8 months and not so new baby anymore.
Oh my gosh!!! Sheila looks like Brooklyn's sister in that last picture :D What's up with that?!?
Congratulations - he's beautiful :) I love his name too. I've loved the name Slade for a long time (it's a family surname).
Oh, I LOVE new born babies. I kind of want another one.....
And I am glad that you have recovered so easily this time. Good for you-and ENJOY the bliss!! The craziness of having kids will come soon enough. :)
