Christmas Outfits

Today after church I made us take a picture in our Christmas outfits. Well the kids had Christmas outfits, Wade and I did not this year. It was just too hard with us traveling to all coordinate outfits. I bought the kid's outfits while we were in Reno. I love them both. I also wanted to make this my post about the things we have done here in Idaho since I have not taken any pictures here at all. I think I am burnt out of taking pictures for a bit.

While we have been here for the last 3 weeks we have had such an enjoyable time. I love spending time here with Wade's family. The time here is so different from how we spend time with my family. Both are equally good and enjoyable. It is just so nice that we both enjoy our in-laws.
These two have so much fun together. Especially when we are trying to take pictures. The one bad part about being here is all the tasty treats we eat. They sure are tasty but I find that I loose all control here and eat whatever I want whenever I want! There is always something baking or cooking that is delicious:)

I love Weston's little grin. And I am so annoyed at my gross hair. This is what happens when you wake up with only 40 minutes to get you and your two kids ready for church.
Jena and I have shopped a few times and have cooked together a lot! Two of my most favorite things to do. But my most favorite thing to do here is sit around the table talking with Jena.

This little monkey has not been as great of a sleeper since we have left Texas. Luckily we just need to pop in a binky to get him back asleep, but this is just getting old. Once we are home he will just have to cry it out. Not looking forward to that.

I absolutely love this dress! Brooklyn has been such a Grandpa's girl. Now that I think about it, she has always been. I remember when she was a baby she would always fall asleep in her grandpa's arms. She gets super excited when she hears him get home and she asks to sit with him all the time. It is something very sweet to watch.
This is about the best I could do getting one of both of them. Brooklyn has played plado with her Nana a few times and loves it. She also is Nana's buddy in the kitchen. She tries to help cook but her special duties are washing the dishes up on the chair with Nana and unloading the dish washer with her.
Look at how fun these two look. You can tell they really love each other. Wade and his mom have played NUMEROUS games of Dr. Mario. Jena kicks Wade's but almost every time...hehe! We as a family have also played the card game, Mormon Bridge a few times. Such a fun game.
Jake has been such a cutie with my kids. He is so gentle and soft with both of them. He shares his toys and will even give them a toy to play with. He is such a helper popping Weston's binky back in while we are in the car. He tried playing catch with Weston a few nights ago, that unfortunately was unsuccessful.

I am so bummed that you can't see Weston's tie. I know that is so dumb to even comment about, but his tie completes his Christmas outfit. Little mister fat man loves his Nana. He loves attacking her face to bring it close to his. It is like he HAS to have her close and then tries to rub his head on hers. It is so cute.
My Beautiful girl who will NOT look at me or the camera. Thankfully her face is pretty enough for a picture even though she rarely makes eye contact. Tomorrow we are heading to Idaho Falls for some shopping and a therapy session for Jake. Then on Tuesday we are headed back to Utah to spend a few extra days with Winter and Chance and Grandma Iverson. Then on Friday morning we head back home!!!!!! I am so so so very ready to be back home. Back to our friends, back to my bed, back to my life, my schedule, and back to some normalcy.
What a Handsome Boy!

Those are for you Mace:) Told you they didn't turn out that cute. Maybe next year:)

So many cute pics. Really. (Dont' worry if you dont' love them. In a year or two you will still be happy to see them. They may even make you smile to remember how the attempt went.) :)
