Here comes the Bride--Happy New Year

I realize I have a Christmas post still to do, but I am waiting on pictures from others. So in the mean time I will just post our current happenings. Happy New year:) We had a pretty low key holiday. New Years Eve Jena and I saw Did You Hear About The Morgans. Pretty funny. Wade and the kids went to an ISU basketball game. Then we just ate and ate and ate. It was fun. We did stay up to ring in the new year. Brooklyn had fun playing dress up all day yesterday. Here is her wedding outfit. Like I mentioned before she is so into weddings, so she hams it up when she is in her wedding stuff. She got all of her stuff on and then went and asked Nana if she had any flowers for her wedding bouquet. She needed the complete shabang!

Smelling her fake flowers.

Pretending to throw the bouquet.
She will make such a beautiful bride one day!

I wanted to review my goal from 2009 and see how we measured up. This is just for my journaling purposes.

1. Finish our back yard.---Yay. We did complete this ourselves:)

2. Get Brooklyn and Ivy baby's room put together 1/2 boy...1/2 girl (they will be sharing).---We did get this done as well. Actually we didn't make it into a boy room as we moved 3 months after he was born. But we did reorganize it to make it work for 2 kids and all of their stuff.

3. Get in shape. I will need to loose my baby weight faster than last time. Well...I say yes and no. I worked out my whole pregnancy. That was good. Then when I got to Texas I met Debbie and she helped me get into a workout routine. So nice of her:) But I just DO NOT loose baby weight easily. It took me about 12-14 months last time after Brooklyn and then I still had 5 pounds to go. I think I met the goal of working out though.

4, Better daily scripture study with each other and individually.---This one was the most important and I think we failed at this one:( I am not proud to admit that.

5. Get our extra spending in control. We need to buckle down and not spend so much money on eating out, and all the extras which are so fun to spend money on. ---We met this one.

6. Get Brooklyn totally potty trained and sleeping in her big girl bed. I also want to spend some more quality time teaching her things. We want to get her knowing her abc's, 123's, and her colors.---CHECK!

I still need to think about my 2010 goals!
