My little Pony

My little sweetie pie and I had such a wonderful beyond wonderful day together today. We started out the day watching "Brooklyn" shows(as she kindly calls them) in bed. Then we headed down stairs for some breakfast. After some fun bath time and some playing we headed to lunch at McDonald's with our friends Debbie, Ben and Evie. That was fun. Brooklyn played and played at the gross play place and I sat and chatted! Then we headed out to Target and then to Ross. We were looking for 4-5t clothes. No such luck. I am not loving clothes anywhere right now. Come on Gap, Old Navy and Target...get on the ball! Anyway we just had fun browsing the aisles. West stayed home with Dad since he was home at 12 today. Awhile back when we were at Ross I told her we could come back and buy her this My Little Pony set that she wanted if she had good behavior for awhile. Well she did and we went in and she remembered I had said that so we had to buy it. It is adorable and she was so stinkin' excited. We then came home and napped then played all night together. I don't know why it was such a great day, but it was. I absolutely LOVE this little girl.

Tonight as I was putting her to bed(Wade was working on the car for the last 7 hours:( :( ...) she kept telling me that she loved me and that she was so happy today. Then she kept coming up to me and giving me the tightest, most wonderful hugs as she thanked me so much for buying her"my most favorite pony set". She told me over and over again, "Mom thank you so much for my ponies and for my lunch with Ben and for playing with me!" I think she repeated that 3 or 4 times and then hugged me some more. I think being a mom to Brooklyn is the GREATEST gift in the world. I absolutely Love you Brooker! (she calls me mommer sometimes, so sometimes I call her Brooker!!!)
