We love Valentines' Day

Guess what? Our car is broken again:( Sad day. We need to replace the starter. Wade did that about five years ago and it was a MAJOR beast. SO guess what? He gets to do it again. This car has rarely given us any problems, but of course now that it is our primary car and we are students again, we have all the expensive repairs. So until Wade has time to fix it, I get to be stuck home:( I am in kind of a funk lately. I hope that Valentine's Day gets me back on track. I need a boost.



Anyway, here in the Iverson home, we absolutely love Valentine's Day. We got the Love bug like 2 weeks ago. We started decorating our house, made vday cup cakes, sent off some Valentines, got my brother who is in the MTC a Vday package and my friend Debbie and I made a cute Vday topiary and wreath. My kids having been wearing their vday shirts all the time too! I seriously love Holidays like this with Brooklyn. She gets so excited about everything! We are trading babysitting with our friends so we can have a date night. We also have a Vday party coming up! So fun:)

Brooklyn has a funky smile here, but last Saturday we made Valentine's heart shaped pancakes! Brooklyn thought it was so cool. Wade said I was a cute mom for making them. Little does he know that I am way behind the times doing this!! hehe.

Another weird smile. We enjoyed breakfast though. We spent the weekend playing at McDonald's with the Dakins' and then went to a super bowl party that was just plain yummy!

This is Weston begging for food. I gave him a bite and he loved it and then kept begging for more.

Brooklyn thought of a great idea and asked to go outside and take pictures of each other. I of course said heck yes! I will always jump at an opportunity to take pictures of Brooklyn. She pretended to take pictures of me with this little toy she got in her happy meal earlier in the day. She posed me, told me to say cheese and then once I did, she would tell me that I looked cute or how good my smile was! It was so fun.

She has had some really great behavior lately. She is always a good kid, but she has been really great lately. The only thing I am annoyed with is her crying for the dumbest reasons. I love her despite the fact she is such a girl!

Poor Weston is teething once again and is pretty sad. I feel so bad for this kid. Funny story: Tonight we stick both kids in the bath only to find out that the hot water ran out super quick because the dish washer was on too. Well we took the kids out and tried waiting it out so that we could stick them back in to wash them once the hot water warmed up. Little Weston kept crawling into the bath room and tried to pull himself onto the tub. He so wanted to get back in. He would also cry once he got there because we would not put him back in. He loves bath.

Anyway, we can't wait for our fun weekend ahead. We love Valentine's Day.
