Here are a load of pictures from Christmas Eve and the night before. There are a ton, but I think they are all cute ones that couldn't be left out of my journal!

We started out Christmas Eve with some last minute shopping and lunch. Don't we look like sisters?

These pictures are all out of order. shoot. Anyway, after we go home for the night the kids opened their traditional Christmas Eve jammies. Thank you to my mom for getting my kids their jammies. Weston and Blake got the same ones. My mom didn't know they were girl jammies ;) I think they are unisex enough!

Brooklyn got Easter jammies ;) She loves them!

We waited forever to eat dinner on Christmas Eve. We decided we didn't want to cook so we hopped in the car in hopes of finding somewhere to eat. After a few closed drive thru's, we ended up at Jack in the Box and a 30 minute wait in line. Then we ate in the car. Pretty funny, but i worked!

Yikes....looks like I am choking my sweet girl. Let me tell you about this sweet little girl and her huge, caring heart. A few days before Christmas Brooklyn was going to work with my mom for a few hours. While we were getting ready to leave she asked me if she could take some pennies she found to work. She said she wanted to give them to sheshe's friends at work so they could go buy a kid who doesn't have a mommy or daddy a present. So she delivered the pennies to my mom's coworkers and it was adorable.

So on Christmas Eve I decided that we needed to put her idea to action. My best friend Teri is a primary president here in Reno. So I called her and asked if there was a little girl in her primary that could use a Christmas present from Brooklyn. She knew of a little girl and her brother that would definitely benefit from Brooklyn's kind heart. So we all went out and bought tons of presents for this family and then went and door bell ditched them on Christmas Eve. It felt so good and it reminded us of what we were celebrating on Christmas.

We also went out and looked at lights, a Christmas tradition I had growing up. Then we came home after Jack in the Box, lights, last minute stop at the grocery store and our secret Santa fun.

This picture is awesome. That is all I can say. You have to know these two to get this!

2 days before Christmas we made a ginger bread house. I wish we would have just bought a premade kit, but noooooo....Wade wanted to make it from scratch. Well look at it....it looks ridiculous, but it was fun and the kids loved it!

The finished house. oh boy.
At Preschool, Brooklyn made reindeer food. So she laid it out for Santa's reindeer.
*Next up Christmas!
